Jennifer Aniston becomes the face of new hair product line created by MIT Scientists!

Living Proof announced last week it is joining creative forces with Jennifer Aniston as she becomes a co-owner and hair care spokesperson in the ground-breaking company. Living Proof was founded by Dr. Robert Langer, Institute Professor of MIT and by Jon Flint and Amir Nashat of Polaris Venture Partners, a leading venture capital firm that supports the translation of scientific discoveries into meaningful products. Living Proof has distinguished itself by attracting world class scientists and utilizing advanced scientific technologies that originated from MIT to solve women’s toughest beauty problems.

Ms. Aniston will actively help build the Living Proof hair care business using her understanding of what drives our culture and hair trends today. Her role will involve hair care brand development and creative marketing direction for Living Proof’s hair products as well as collaboration with our leading stylists and scientists on new hair care product ideas.

Aniston explains her decision to partner with Living Proof: “What caught my attention about Living Proof is the company’s unique approach to hair care — using scientific technologies to offer women actual proof in a bottle rather than hoping for results. I’ve tried so many hair care products,” says Aniston. “Over the years, my hair has been subjected to everything…blow dryers, flatirons, curling irons, color, extensions, you name it. My hair has taken a serious beating. After using these products, I felt like I finally discovered a solution that works every day. I could not be more excited to share Living Proof with the world.”

FIRST LOOK: Check out Jennifer Aniston’s new Smartwater ads!

Jennifer Aniston’s new Smartwater ads have just been released!

It was about a year ago exactly that she released her previous ads. She was much less….clothed in those ads (see them here). In these new pictures, the 43-year-old looks absolutely beautiful!

Besides posing in Glaceau’s ad campaign,:

Jennifer has been keeping a relatively low profile of late, having just splashed out on a Bel Air mansion with boyfriend Justin Theroux for a mere $21 million.

At the time, Brad Pitt’s former wife told Australia’s The Kyle And Jackie O Show: ‘We tried New York, but it felt like I was in a fishbowl. It was a little rough with the paparazzi.’

Having lived there since she was a child, Jennifer added: ‘It didn’t feel like the New York I knew.’

It seems the Horrible Bosses star is really moving on, even sending flowers to her ex-husband after the Fight Club heartthrob announced his engagement to Angelina Jolie.

Jennifer reportedly sent a $800 bouquet, with a friend telling The Sun: ‘Finally it looks like the past is firmly in the past.’

Jennifer Aniston opens up about boyfriend Justin Theroux: “He’s a protector”

Marie Claire Australia recycled an old Jennifer Aniston photo shoot from an old Elle pictorial, but the interview below is new! Jennifer opens up about boyfriend Justin Theroux, and how he’s such a wonderful human being.

On her boyfriend Justin Theroux: “He’s a protector, for sure. He’s just a good human being, and so funny.”

On being secluded while filming Wanderlust: “All of a sudden I began decompressing. It’s weird, but it felt like living a normal life; almost like having your anonymity back. Nobody bothered us and we were protected as a group. There were no paparazzi and no secret, tricky little cell phone pictures being taken. I realized how paranoid and guarded and not trusting – walled-in – I had become. Not consciously so, but just this armor that I kind of have, protective armor. It’s not for my friends or family, but for being outside in the world, always on guard.”

On not wanting to be so guarded: “I’ve really made a conscious effort to not wall myself up like that again. I built those walls pretty high in the past. I think you miss out on a lot of stuff when you’re so protected and isolated.”

On shooting a topless scene for the film: “There are always nerves when you shoot a scene like that. But the adrenaline takes you through it and then you have the girls come in and cover you up immediately. I got very comfortable with seeing nude people, pretty much immediately. It was bizarre to know that these were actually nudists – because there’s a nudist colony in Clarkesville – and how comfortable they are being nude.”

On keeping in good health: “I think being happy and smiling and laughing a lot helps. I work out, I drink a lot of water. And yoga is still very important. I love it. If I don’t do it then my spirit sort of goes.”

I thought the interview was ok…. kind of dull (like the cover).

Does Jennifer Aniston drop $8,000 a month on beauty treatments?

Daily Mail has a story today about Jennifer Aniston’s beauty regimen, claiming the actress spends a whopping $8,000 a month on beauty products and treatments. I don’t think I necessarily doubt she would spend that much. If I had Jennifer’s money – I might be tempted to spent unreasonable amounts of money on products as well! If you had that kind of money – wouldn’t you stay on top of your skin with all the tools available?

Another thing…. Jen looks amazing, so whatever she’s doing – she should keep on doing it!

Hollywood’s golden girl, Jennifer Aniston, is envied by millions for her perfectly sun-kissed glow, toned body and shiny locks and now we know how much it costs. The Wanderlust star, 43, reportedly spends $8000 a month on lotions and potions, her dietary regime and her exercise schedule in order to maintain her flawless appearance.

On skincare alone, the bronzed beauty is estimated to invest in the region of $2000 monthly. Aside from the ‘horrifying’ peel that Aniston says leaves her looking like a ‘battered burn victim’ for a week, the actress indulges in soothing treatments and creams.

One neck ointment she uses, by beauty brand Euoko, is allegedly made with crystals from the planet Mars and costs $450 while she regularly splurges on Tracie Martyn Spa Red Carpet Facials that cost over $500.

On leaving the New York spa, she reportedly takes home a $390 goodie bag of products. To offset the expense of her extravagant facials, Aniston washes her face with a cheap Neutrogena Facial Cleansing Bar and moisturizes daily with comparatively affordable Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream for around $40. But she makes sure she stays young and wrinkle free with Mila Moursi Rejuvinating Serum for $350.

Her private yoga sessions with trainer and best friend Mandy Ingber set her back nearly $900 a week for three hours of stretching and cardio.

Of her rigorous workouts, Aniston has gushed in the past: ‘I feel like I am getting a meditation, a workout and time with my friend, all rolled into one hour.’

And let’s not forget Aniston’s dietician, Carrie Watt, whose consultation fees and home delivery service total around $680 a week. For the girl-next-door look, $8000 seems like a lot of money to spend but if anyone has a wallet deep enough to pay for it, it is Jennifer Aniston.

I don’t get why they’re making such a big deal about it, really. Who cares?
