Good Hair Day With Jennifer Aniston: Confessions

Hair matters. Just ask any woman who’s cried over a haircut. Or who has a “product graveyard” in her shower. Women are obsessed with hair – and it drives them to do some pretty outrageous things. In a new web series from Living Proof, Jennifer Aniston explores just how far women are willing to go for a good hair day – and why maybe it doesn’t have to be that way.

Today Jennifer Aniston and Living Proof launches The Good Hair Day web series with Aniston consists of three chapters, each released on livingproof.com/goodhairday (and hosted on YouTube). The series features real women talking about their hairalongside Aniston, and Chris McMillan (Aniston’s longtime hairdresser and a stylist for Living Proof).

Here’s another hilarious video.

Jennifer Aniston’s hair stylist explains why she wore her hair down at the Oscars

I’m glad someone is finally clearing the air on this very important topic. I have had a hard time sleeping since Sunday!

At the Oscars, Jennifer Aniston wore a beautiful (in my opinion) red Valentino gown, but she kept her hair down – which honestly did stump me. I think she is SO beautiful with her hair up, so why did she pair such a beautiful gown with such unkempt hair?

People Magazine has a new video interview with Jennifer’s forever hairstylist, Chris McMillan. Chris discussed her Oscar styling. “She wanted to keep the makeup natural and the hair natural. I think it’s about, at this point, being really comfortable on the red carpet.” Up-do’s can be comfortable too! I wonder if she’s had work done – and you can see it when her hair is pulled up. C’mon, let the conspiracy theories begin!!

LIVING PROOF RED CARPET REPORT OSCAR AWARDS 2013

WHO: JENNIFER ANISTON, LIVING PROOF CO-OWNER AND HAIR CARE SPOKESPERSON

HAIR BY: CHRIS McMILLAN, LIVING PROOF CELEBRITY HAIRSTYLIST

INSPIRATION: “The key word is natural. She’ll be one of the only people there who is able to actually touch her hair. Jen’s Valentino gown was such a daring fashion choice, so we wanted her hair to make her feel comfortable. I created a look that would last the entire night, from the red carpet to when she presents. “

TIPS/TECHNIQUE: “First, I washed the hair with Living Proof Full Shampoo and Conditioner. I then applied Prime Style Extender to wet hair and massaged through for a lasting style, while still allowing the hair to have movement. Using a large round brush, I blew out the hair straight with a deep, side bang. Finally, I applied Hold Flexible Hairspray to the roots for height and lightly sprayed the rest of the hair.”

PRODUCTS: LIVING PROOF FULL SHAMPOO ($24), FULL CONDITIONER ($24), PRIME STYLE EXTENDER ($20), HOLD FELXIBLE HAIRSPRAY ($24)

Jennifer Aniston is the new face and body of Aveeno!

Jennifer Aniston wants you to have healthy, glowing skin!

The actress announced today that she’s the new face and body of Aveeno skincare products, a brand she loves!

“I’m very particular about what I put on my face and body, and have been using Aveeno for years,” Aniston tells PEOPLE exclusively. “So this partnership is a natural fit for me.”

Expect to see the star in ad campaigns later in the year — and hear her reveal some coveted beauty tips, too.

“Jennifer’s holistic approach to life and her natural beauty are such a perfect match for Aveeno,” the brand says in a statement. “We are pleased to welcome Jennifer to the Aveeno family.”

Aniston, who until now had limited her endorsements, became the spokeswoman and co-owner of Living Proof hair products late last year.

Who doesn’t love Aveeno? This seems like a really good fit. Jennifer Aniston is naturally gorgeous. I can’t wait to see the ad campaigns!

Jennifer Aniston becomes the face of new hair product line created by MIT Scientists!

Living Proof announced last week it is joining creative forces with Jennifer Aniston as she becomes a co-owner and hair care spokesperson in the ground-breaking company. Living Proof was founded by Dr. Robert Langer, Institute Professor of MIT and by Jon Flint and Amir Nashat of Polaris Venture Partners, a leading venture capital firm that supports the translation of scientific discoveries into meaningful products. Living Proof has distinguished itself by attracting world class scientists and utilizing advanced scientific technologies that originated from MIT to solve women’s toughest beauty problems.

Ms. Aniston will actively help build the Living Proof hair care business using her understanding of what drives our culture and hair trends today. Her role will involve hair care brand development and creative marketing direction for Living Proof’s hair products as well as collaboration with our leading stylists and scientists on new hair care product ideas.

Aniston explains her decision to partner with Living Proof: “What caught my attention about Living Proof is the company’s unique approach to hair care — using scientific technologies to offer women actual proof in a bottle rather than hoping for results. I’ve tried so many hair care products,” says Aniston. “Over the years, my hair has been subjected to everything…blow dryers, flatirons, curling irons, color, extensions, you name it. My hair has taken a serious beating. After using these products, I felt like I finally discovered a solution that works every day. I could not be more excited to share Living Proof with the world.”

FIRST LOOK: Check out Jennifer Aniston’s new Smartwater ads!

Jennifer Aniston’s new Smartwater ads have just been released!

It was about a year ago exactly that she released her previous ads. She was much less….clothed in those ads (see them here). In these new pictures, the 43-year-old looks absolutely beautiful!

Besides posing in Glaceau’s ad campaign,:

Jennifer has been keeping a relatively low profile of late, having just splashed out on a Bel Air mansion with boyfriend Justin Theroux for a mere $21 million.

At the time, Brad Pitt’s former wife told Australia’s The Kyle And Jackie O Show: ‘We tried New York, but it felt like I was in a fishbowl. It was a little rough with the paparazzi.’

Having lived there since she was a child, Jennifer added: ‘It didn’t feel like the New York I knew.’

It seems the Horrible Bosses star is really moving on, even sending flowers to her ex-husband after the Fight Club heartthrob announced his engagement to Angelina Jolie.

Jennifer reportedly sent a $800 bouquet, with a friend telling The Sun: ‘Finally it looks like the past is firmly in the past.’
