Miley Cyrus lands the October cover of Harper’s Bazaar!

Miley Cyrus‘ twerking on the VMA’s may have cost her the cover of Vogue, but it looks like Harper’s Bazaar doesn’t have any issues with her!

The newly-single singer covers the October issue of Harper’s Bazaar, and you gotta give it to her, she looks great! The cover was shot by her favorite photographer, Terry Richardson.

Though it’s worth noting that this cover is a far cry from Miley’s first one for Bazaar, back in 2010 (pictured below). In her accompanying interview with Derek Blasberg, Miley makes it known that she’s now into Fashion with a captial F:

“I feel like every girl is trying to have a beauty shot and prove that they’re ‘fashion.’ But I can be in white leggings and a white sports bra and I’m on a whole other level of shit that those girls don’t even get yet because they don’t know how to do it.”

To prove Miley’s got Fashion under control, she tells Blasberg that she brings her own “shit” to photo shoots: an enormous gym bag “kit” containing “over-the-top, blingy, fabulous accessories… Chanel logo suspenders and belts, Versace Medusa necklaces and brooches, spiked stilettos, hats, and miles of shiny gold chains.” Why so much baggage? “What if I get to a photo shoot and the stylist just sucks?” Miley says.

Olivia Wilde looks gorgeous on the October cover of Harper’s Bazaar Spain.

The beautiful Olivia Wilde lands the October cover of Harper’s Bazaar Spain. I love the cover, she looks great. The photo of her kicking up her leg is great too. Olivia is currently promoting her two new movies, ‘Drinking Buddies’ and ‘Rush.’ I want to see ‘Drinking Buddies’ because it looks like a cute romantic comedy, but ‘Rush’ looks downright boring to me. I don’t like 70s movies, never have.

Anyway – they haven’t released anything from the interview of this magazine, so I’m hopping over to an interview she did with Food & Wine (because her ‘Drinking Buddies’ movie is all about BEER!). She tells the magazine that she has terrible eating habits – and maybe she does – but I find it slightly irritating to hear her talk about it, when she obviously works out. She doesn’t come across as snobby as some celebs who swear they NEVER work out, and eat whatever they want. I guess maybe Olivia’s more down to earth than we thought?

Deep-fried PB&J: “Now I’m ruined. I’m gonna turn into Marlon Brando. I had it at the Malibu Inn, which is a great music venue and bar right on the Pacific Coast Highway. My fiancé ordered the deep-fried PB&J–they use waffle batter, so it’s not too bready. The way the peanut butter and jelly melt together is far better than I could have imagined. It’s pretty much the ultimate stoner food.”

Beer: “Even though I’m Irish and I love Guinness, dark, dark, dark beers aren’t usually my thing. I like a good, aromatic IPA. Now I have become a total beer snob. I’m the annoying person who takes forever in the beer aisle at Whole Foods, because I’m standing there going, ‘Hmm. I’m not sure. I’m not sure if that’s a good selection. Do you have anything in the back? Is this local? I’ve never heard of this one. How hoppy is this?’ And other people are just like, ‘Please, move on.’”

Wine: “Oh yeah, I’m a wino. I won’t say there’s one grape I like best, though, because I do like blends. Do you know The Prisoner? That’s a blend of Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. That’s just a fabulous wine. But my favorite wine of all time is a Napa Valley Cabernet called Scarecrow. It’s mailing-list only, so it’s hard to find, but if you ever see a bottle of Scarecrow, get it.”

Pasta: “I have recently fallen in love with an Italian restaurant downtown called Carbone. I’ve always found sea urchin to be too fishy, but at Carbone, they serve a sea urchin dish that is incredible. It’s just garlicky and buttery and amazing. They also make the best linguine vongole I’ve ever had. For me, my number one comfort food–the food that really feels like a hug on the inside–is pasta. Probably a fresh linguine with arrabbiata sauce would be my top pick. Maybe I’d have some bread on the side, with some cheese or olive oil, too. I guess I crave the basic, carby things that we’re not supposed to eat.”

Sarah Jessica Parker covers the September issue of Harper’s Bazaar!

Sarah Jessica Parker lands the September cover of Harper’s Bazaar. On the cover, Sarah is wearing a gorgeous gold Marc Jacobs dress, but it’s the dress inside that’s got everyone talking.

Check out this stunning floor-length Gucci gown! The netted and feathered gown is from Gucci’s Fall 2013 collection. Photos were taken by Terry Richardson (of course).

As far as the interview goes, she opens up about her marriage to Matthew Broderick, fashion and her image. I find her comments about Matthew to be SO CUTE…. I just love them!

On her marriage to Matthew Broderick: “Matthew and I come from a different time and place. When we were young people, all we ever wanted was to be good working actors. We didn’t think of fame or money because, honestly, money was never part of the dream. It was to work in theater, to be around those people whose work I was in total awe of. I never saw the trappings; nobody talked about being a celebrity. So when our marriage came up in conversation, it wouldn’t occur to us that we were obligated to respond to allegations or gossip. You have to be a bit circumspect, but you also have to take up a position, and you have to stick to it. I love Matthew Broderick. Call me crazy, but I love him. We can only be in the marriage we are. We’re very devoted to our family and our lives. I love our life. I love that he’s the father of my children, and it’s because of him that there’s this whole other world that I love.”

On collaborating in the fashion world: “We’ve all worked with complicated people and I always think that I can disarm them. I love collaborating. I’m a great listener and learner, and I don’t think I know more than they do. I’m transparent.”

On teaming up with Monolo Blahnik: “The shoe business is so exciting because we don’t have to think of black and brown as the only neutrals anymore,” she says.

On her image: “I don’t think I’ve ever spent 10 minutes calculating my image. I can’t even recall a conversation.”
