I love these scissors! They may be made for your man but you need to steal his or get your own pair. The rubber grips and larger finger opening make them super easy to use. They cut very precisely and are sharp enough to make any touch up or trim job a breeze.

They are so easy to use I can even get my daughters bangs trimmed (straight) before she gets antsy! Get a great gift to spoil your man and yourself.

Get the Look! Kristen Stewart at the Teen Choice Awards!

fp_3385489_rij_teenchoice_set2_080909.jpg

INSPIRATION:
60′s Rock and Roll pompadour with a spiky ponytail.
p189139_hero.jpgp233103_hero.jpg

HOW TO GET THE LOOK:
Adir first started out by applying the FEKKAI COIFF™ NONCHALANT PIECING & FORMING WAX to the palm his hands and then added the FEKKAI COIFF™ EXTRA CONTROL STYLING GEL for extra texture and shine. He applied this to her damp hair until it was full saturated.
To get the right texture with short layered haircut like Kristen’s, you must apply enough products until you get it to look right and feels right. It is important to fully saturate the hair with product.
Once the product was in the hair he took a blow-drier and hand dried into his desired style, directing all the hair with his fingers back to the nape of her neck.

To finish the look, he took the back of the hair and pulled it into a twisted ponytail letting the ends out and then spraying the front with the FEKKAI SHEER HOLD HAIRSPRAY. Make sure to leave random pieces out for a more chill vibe.
PRODUCTS ALL BY FEKKAI: COIFF™ NONCHALANT PIECING & FORMING WAX ($23) COIFF™ EXTRA CONTROL STYLING GEL ($23). SHEER HOLD HAIR SPRAY ($23) AVAILABLE AT SEPHORA, NORDSTROM, NEIMAN MARCUS, SAKS FIFTH AVENUE AND FEKKAI.COM.

This Month’s Best Beauty Buys, by Marie Claire!

0809-best-beauty-4-de.jpg

SPACE FACE
I’m hooked on the ethereal, soft-focus finish of La Mer Treatment Powder Foundation, $90. Fittingly, its base ingredient is Airgel, a literally weightless material used by NASA.

GOLDEN GIRLS
To soften the edgiest makeup looks, Lancome’s Aaron De May cleverly borrows a stroke from Renaissance painters, highlighting faces with gold—on cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, Cupid’s bow, or center of eyelids (my personal fave). Best gilty pleasures: Lancôme Poudre Liberté Highlighting Powder, $40, Sensai The Lipstick by Kanebo, $55, and Avon Anew Ultimate Age Repair Gold Emulsion, $36.

DOUBLE HEADER
Ouidad Double Detangler, $24, is designed to gently unfurl ringlets. But I found it also effortlessly rakes deep conditioner through my long straight hair, pre-swim, making it my new beach-bag staple.

RED EYE
Runway Dorothy-worthy ruby eyeshadow, sparkling up models’ lids at Prada.
Reality Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Red Iron mascara, $28, and palette, $58, serving up vibrant yet flattering crimson shades that most of us can pull off (seriously). The exception: pale blondes (you’ll want to avoid the albino bunny look).

THE BIG APPLES
My beauty crutch: heaps of blush. But fall’s high-drama eyes and shockingly bold lips demand a lighter touch. For a featherweight fix, Sonia Kashuk Super Sheer Liquid Tint, $9.99, serves up just the right dewy dose.
