Keep your hair hydrated with Pureology!

pureology827

Does your hair get dry during the summer? Mine sure does. It’s so annoying! It’s frizzy and goes nuts every year. I think it probably has something to do with the fact that I’m in my parents pool, constantly, submitting my hair to constant chlorine soakage. (I know it’s not a word.)

The people over at Pureology were kind enough to send me some product from their new Hydrate System*. I love the stuff! It smells minty and clean and makes your head tingle! I love the feeling of my hair after blow-drying it. It really makes a difference. I used these for about a week before I wrote this post, and I can say I’m hooked.

Gently cleanse and moisturize hair while protecting hair color vibrancy with this luxurious, concentrated daily hydrating system.

ZeroSulfate formula with the exclusive AntiFadeComplex infuses hair with essential hydration to protect and moisturize colour-treated hair.

Key Ingredients

  • ZeroSulfate, free, salt-free, colour-preserving formula derived from coconut, corn and sugar
  • Natural Plant Extracts including Peppermint, Sage and Rosemary
  • Signature Aromatherapy Blend with Peppermint and Corn Mint Essential Oils

Need help figuring out which hair product is for you? Why not get a hair consultation?

*Disclosure: I was sent these products to review for the site, I was not paid to write this post, and I was not compensated for my opinions. The opinions you read here are mine alone.

Miley Cyrus opens up about her hair: “I’m breaking this stereotype”

Miley Cyrus really, REALLY likes her hair. She’s done a lot of changing and growing since she buzzed off her long locks, and she’s loving every minute of it.

Cyrus tells Kelly Osbourne of the E! Fashion Police, “[Being] on the cover of Maxim and having short hair, I feel like I’m speaking on behalf of girls everywhere, breaking this stereotype.”

“I’m secretly tugging on it every night,” she admits of her cropped locks. “I love a good weave.”

PHOTOS: Beyonce cuts all her hair off!

Beyonce has taken her weave out!

From what I’ve always heard, we’ve never seen Beyonce’s real hair. She pretty much exclusively wears wigs and weaves, and has never really shown off her natural hair. I guess she decided to change all that, and removed her extensions once and for all! She posted these pictures on her Tumblr page, showing off her newly-cropped hair! I think her hair has been so processed, so damaged, she had to cut it all off and start over fresh. And I think it’s cute!

CHEAP FIND! Loving Vanilla Flame Natural Nourishing Shampoo & Conditioner

I really, REALLY love when I find a good shampoo and conditioner product that works amazingly, and is AFFORDABLE! In this case, GUD has released a line of amazing products, and they’re under $10 each! I found them in stores for only $7 a piece!

Did you know that Burt’s Bees makes GUD? Does that make you feel better?

I love this stuff! It works well, and I know it’s not loaded up with junk! My hair feels amazing, and certainly feels like I just spent more than $14 combined!
