Gwyneth Paltrow has been named the new face of natural skincare line Restorsea, and E! got a chance to sit down with the actress and talk with her about the skincare line, plus her own beauty routine. Gwyneth explains why she swears by “oil pulling” which has been getting a lot of attention lately.

Here’s more from E!:

How did you discover Restorsea?
It was sent to me. I get a lot of things sent but this one stood out. I loved the smell; it wasn’t floral, which I find off putting. I started using it and noticed a difference quickly in my skin tone. When looking into the company more, I learned it was started by a woman…I loved that it was a woman! I am all about that, ways to empower women. We call it the “Fempire” here in the Goop office. I won’t ever endorse anything I don’t fully believe in.

How important to you is it to use natural ingredients in products?
I really think it’s important. I will rely and have relied on things in the past that aren’t 100 percent natural—like if you are going get lasers to get rid of sunspots, that’s not a natural product. So I always think a mix is good, but it’s very important that what you put on your skin is natural, because it’s so readily absorbed into your system and there are so many unregulated chemicals in our products—more so in America than any other country, and so I always try to look for natural or organic product.

What’s your daily beauty routine?
It’s very minimal. After I drop my kids, I always exercise and then I take a shower and I basically just put on moisturizer—and that’s kind of it. If I have a meeting or something I’ll put on some mascara, but that’s as far as I go.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s new Boss fragrance commercials are out!

Gwyneth Paltrow’s new Boss Jour Pour Femme perfume commercials are out! The latest campaign for the Boss fragrances have hit the web, and I’m not exactly sure what to think!

Want Gwyneth Paltrow’s body? She shares her secrets!

Gwyneth Patlrow LOVES to talk about her body. Probably because her trainer, Tracy Anderson, is also her partner. The pair have produced four exercise DVDs together, each selling over 20,000 copies in Britain alone. They also co-wrote a book, ’30-Day Me.’

In a post for The Telegraph, the actress said that the key to staying in shape is a consistent exercise regime, regular detoxes and the occasional weekend treat (hers includes wine and cigarettes!).

Must Exercise: “Keep up consistent exercise. I am dedicated to the Tracy Anderson Method and it has completely changed my body. Still, when I first started working with Tracy, finding motivation was hard. She advised me to think of exercise as an automatic routine, no different from brushing your teeth, to avoid getting distracted. Now it is part of my life – I exercise Monday to Friday at 10am and always stick with it. I’d also recommend concentrating on moving more – we sit for so much of the day. Choose to walk or take the stairs, or briskly climb a hill in the evenings. It creates good muscle tone and boosts your metabolism.”

Measure in Inches, Not Pounds: “There is something punitive about weighing yourself. It can leave you vulnerable to shame and guilt, and it messes with you psychologically. Women naturally gain and lose weight during their monthly cycle anyway, so it can be more realistic to monitor your body shape with a measuring tape.”

Give Yourself a Treat Every Now and Then: “Stay away from processed foods, though cutting them out completely is no fun and can ultimately lead to a binge. Allow yourself programmed treats – I often have a glass of red wine in the evening and smoke a cigarette on a Saturday. I love those moments because they are just the right amount of naughty. That balance keeps you vibrant. You have to live your life, after all.”

Check out Gwyneth Patlrow’s new Hugo Boss ads!

Gwyneth Paltrow was interviewed last week to promote the new Hugo Boss fragrance, Boss Jour Pour Femme, which she represents. Hugo Boss loves them some Gwyneth. They were quoted as saying “Gwyneth Paltrow embodies hard work, femininity and sophistication. She is a woman that has so many different roles, each and every day. From being an actor to being a mother, a writer and a businesswoman.” Wow. Who knew?

Anyway, here’s what Gwyneth had to say about Boss:

“I have had a really good experience working for Boss, and I always say this, but it really is such a perfect job when you have kids. I can only really do one film a year now because of my family and how it all works out, so it’s so nice for me to be able to work for a great company and, you know, I’m going to Spain next week for two days so I still get to travel and meet really interesting people and have a work interaction. But it’s not like I am out of the house for three months,” added Paltrow at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel here ahead of the official launch in Valencia, Spain, this week.

Paltrow added that she is something of a collector of fragrances. “I am one of those people who have a whole closet full of perfume. I love it; I have always loved it and have always had a wardrobe full of scent,” she said, admitting to having at least a hundred in her possession.

“I think that Jour is the perfect name for it — it’s very uplifting,” she said of the new scent. And uplifting may be just what she needs given her regular morning routine. “I wake up at 7 a.m., I get [the kids] fed, and I get them dressed in their uniforms, any bits of homework are finished,” Paltrow explained. “I take them to school. She [Apple, now 9] gets dropped off at 8:25 a.m., and he [Moses, now 7] gets dropped off at 8:45 a.m., so we have a croissant together in his school dining room and we do reading together. Then I go home and I work for one hour on all the e-mails that come in overnight from L.A. Then I exercise from about 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Then I work on Goop [the digital media and e-commerce company she founded] pretty much the rest of the day until I pick up my kids and then they have various activities.”

Oh Gwen.
