Would you try the Gwyneth Paltrow cleanse?

I should say the Goop cleanse. Gwyenth Paltrow sent out her weekly newsletter on Tuesday, and this week’s letter was devoted to the cleanse she’s promoting. For $425 you can have a colon like Gwynnies!?

The basic premise of this cleanse is that by creating the right conditions, our bodies will begin to reset themselves naturally. How? By adding in nutritionally-beneficial foods and supplements, and removing the major toxins in our diet (inflammatory and processed foods).”

“Unlike most cleanses, the goop cleanse by Clean is designed to deliver results right now, while also inspiring long-term health changes. The cleanse will help give your digestive system a break and also improve energy levels by bringing in high-quality vitamins and nutrients. Best of all, because you’ll be eating during this program, you won’t be left feeling hungry or tired which is typical of most cleanses.”

“To date more than 50,000 people have successfully completed this cleanse. In fact, in 2009 when this cleanse was featured on goop, we sold out, and thousands ended up on our waiting list. I see that as a testament to how eager people are to feel better, and how effectively this cleanse works. I hope that after this experience we can add your name to that list.”

“I hope you are as enthusiastic about embarking on this journey as I am for you.”

How it Works

The cleanse arrives within a few days after purchase and consists of a tasty protein shake and several supplements that help digestion, rebuild beneficial bacteria, and eliminate toxins. For 21-days you’ll have a shake for breakfast, a solid meal for lunch from a list of foods Dr. Junger recommends, a shake for dinner and your Clean supplements throughout the day.

Clean has an excellent support team that is available to answer any questions you may have and help you out when you’re in need of some encouragement.

Before purchasing, be sure this is the right thing to do for you. Read up here and get to know the cleanse. If you have a medical condition or are at all unsure whether or not this is right for you, check with your doctor.

If you’ve decided you’d like to kick start your metabolism and get healthy in 2012, then you can purchase the goop Cleanse here.

Eating healthfully during the Cleanse

Before your cleanse arrives, take a few days to prepare by eating healthfully for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Clean manual has a list of foods that you can include, so check out page 9. The Clean chefs, Frank Giglio and Jenny Nelson, have provided us with some great (and truly easy) recipes. Plus, we’ve provided a few ideas for what lunches to pack and what to order at a restaurant.

So are you a cleanse person? I’ve never tried one myself, but they’ve always intrigued me. Have you done a cleanse in the past? Which one have you tried? What did you think about it? Do tell!

Gwyneth Platrow: “I can’t do my own makeup”

Rich people problems. :)

In Gwyneth Paltrow’s latest Goop Newsletter, the Oscar-winner opened up that she cannot do her own makeup, and shares tips with how to do your own makeup.

Believe it or not, I am terrible at doing my own makeup. I’m decent at doing it for a friend, but when it comes to my own face, I never get it right. I have been wanting a step by step lesson for ages so I asked my London makeup artist, Emma Lovell, to show me how. One of my gorgeous school mum friends from my son Mosey’s class agreed to be the model (thank you, Kate!), and I learned so much. I hope it’s helpful for some of you!

Love,
gp

She gives a really great tutorial for how to prep your skin before makeup, how to apply daytime makeup, and then how to transform that into evening makeup. Check out the tutorial here!

Gwyneth Paltrow says no to plastic surgery…except for one procedure

Gwyneth Paltrow recently opened up to OK! Magazine about plastic surgery. The 38-year-old actress, who looks absolutely amazing, looks this way – naturally. She hates the idea of plastic surgery, but she’s NOT opposed to all surgical help!

As a devotee of brutal Tracy Anderson workouts and super healthy food, we’d imagine Mrs. Chris Martin would do anything to keep her young body.

Alas, we were mistaken: cosmetic surgery, Paltrow told OK!, is “vanity.” The only body part she might operate on, she admits, are her breasts.

“Before I didn’t care about it. And I still refuse to use silicone, Botox or other of those gimmicks out of pure vanity,” the actress said. “But a breast correction after breast feeding — why not?”

She can say what she wants, but we don’t believe for a second that Gwyneth needs any part of her body altered. The star struck a pose on the September cover of Elle, looking fresh-faced (if not a tad serious) and slender as can be.

She told the magazine, “People come up to me and say, ‘I want to have two kids and wear a bathing suit and not feel terrible about myself. I see how hard you work and it makes me feel like I can do that too.’”

Whatever she’s doing – she needs to keep it up. She looks absolutely gorgeous!

Here’s the latest cover of Elle Magazine, and she looks fantastic!!

FIRST LOOK: Gwyneth Paltrow for Coach!

In April, Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted exiting Coach headquarters with company creative director Reed Krakoff. Soon after, Coach confirmed that Paltrow was set to serve as brand ambassador for an international campaign to mark Coach’s 70th anniversary this Fall and next Spring. Krakoff called Paltrow “a natural choice . . . She embodies the spirit, energy and elegance of the Coach brand.”

Peter Lindbergh shot Paltrow on the top of the Tudor City skyscrapers in Manhattan for ads that will only be used in Asian and European markets — and now we have a first look at the campaign.

Gwyneth Paltrow named the new face of Coach!

Gwyneth Paltrow is everywhere these days! While she’s not starring in movies, singing on ‘Glee’, maintaining her lifestyle website or launching her own cookbook, she’s modeling! Coach has just announced that Gwyneth will be the brand ambassador for the international campaign to celebrate it’s 70th anniversary.

From “Glee” cameos to penning a cookbook and launching a career in country music, Gwyneth Paltrow is clearly looking to cultivate a wider audience and her latest move fits that bill. Coach Inc. confirmed that Paltrow will also serve as a brand ambassador for the international campaign to mark its 70th anniversary this fall and next spring.

Shot by Peter Lindbergh on a Manhattan rooftop, the print, digital and outdoor ads will only be used for select markets in Asia and Europe, including France, Spain, the U.K., Portugal and China.

“I grew up in New York City and I’ve always thought of Coach as the quintessential New York brand,” Paltrow said. “I’ll never forget getting my first Coach bag.”

The images will break in international September books. Coach’s president and executive creative director Reed Krakoff called Paltrow, who in the past played model for Tod’s and Christian Dior, “a natural choice.…She embodies the spirit, energy and elegance of the Coach brand,” he said.

Re-Create Oscar Night Glamour with Celebrity Stylist René Fris

Stars at last night’s Academy Awards brought on a flourish of stunning hairstyles, from the glam to the modern to the sexy. René Fris reveals insider tips on how to pull off these sought after looks effortlessly! Rene’s online stylist consultation service is a unique way to get celebrity hair stylist tips (just like these) from virtually anywhere – check it out at www.renefris.com.

REESE WITHERSPOON
Presenter Reese Witherspoon’s retro ponytail evoked Sixties mod fashion on the red carpet. To begin, apply a texturizing and lifting spray to hair and blow dry using a large round brush. Make sure to really lift hair at roots, creating epic volume which is essential to the look. Next, use a 1 and a half-inch curling iron to create loose waves and movement. Gather the hair up into a ponytail high up at the back of the head. As you do this, push hair forward to create lift at the crown. Use bobby pins to keep the ponytail in place. Set the whole look off with a coat of maximum hold hairspray.

MILA KUNIS
Black Swan star Mila Kunis looked positively gorgeous in this prom-esque do. Begin by parting the hair deeply to the side. Use a ¾-inch curling iron to create a wavy, tousled texture throughout hair. Allow a top section to drape loosely across half the forehead, gather the rest of hair together at the nape of the neck. Twist hair up and into a loose bun underneath its base, securing with bobby pins. Apply a shine boosting hairspray to finish the look.

GWYNETH PALTROW
Best Song performer Gwyneth Paltrow’s sleek hair complemented her shimmery form-fitting gown perfectly. The star’s modern style looked sensational on the Red Carpet, but is also versatile enough to rock virtually anywhere. For this look, apply a shine serum throughout wet locks and blow dry straight with a concentrated nozzle attachment on the blow dryer. Part hair down the middle and style hair in sections with a 1-inch flattening iron. Finish the look with a shine boosting hairspray for a polished look.

JENNIFER LAWRENCE
20-year-old best actress nominee, Jennifer Lawrence, looked hip and sexy with long layered waves. This look is simple but the results are head-turning. Begin by running a thickening lotion through damp hair. Blow dry using a paddle brush. Use a 2-inch curling iron to create sultry loose waves. Feel free to use hands to create more body and movement. Finish the look off with a medium-hold hair spray.
