PICS: Megan Fox’s Summer 2011 Giorgio Armani Beauty Ad Campaign!

Megan Fox is the face of Giorgio Armani’s new summer 2011 beauty ad campaign.

The 25-year-old actress posed for the beauty line, featuring smokey eyes, shimmery cheeks and shiny lips!

“Makeup artists are definitely better at doing my makeup, but I like to do it myself. I like my eyes the best and I like to emphasize them. I like to make them pop,” Megan admitted.

Fox is also the face of their fragrance, Armani Code, and last year appeared in Emporio Armani’s underwear and Armani Jeans ads.

Megan Fox Stars in New Giorgio Armani Beauty Ad Campaign!

The 24-year-old actress is making her debut as the new face of Giorgio Armani Beauty, with a just-released video spot that combines a hypnotic beat with equally mesmerizing close-up shots of the bombshell.

Transforming from dewy and neutral girl-next-door to full-on smoky eyed glamazon with hot red lips to match, Fox shows that she can pull off a variety of the brand’s makeup looks.

Armani says that he chose Fox as the new face of his beauty empire because, “she embodies the spirit of the women of today: free, confident and seductive. Her beautiful features reveal femininity, sensuality and strength.”

Known best for its luminous foundations and moisture-drenched lip colors with intense pigment pay off, Giorgio Armani Beauty is also known for its equally luxurious price tag, with the former retailing for nearly $60, and the latter for $27-$30 a tube.

Megan Fox is the new face of Giorgio Armani Cosmetics!

The announcement has come as little surprise to the industry, which has watched the 24-year-old’s relationship with the veteran Italian designer go from strength to strength in recent years.

She is a regular at his catwalk shows, and wore an Armani Privé gown for her recent wedding to 90210 star Brian Austin Green.

Fox even replaced Victoria Beckham as the face of the label’s underwear campaign earlier this year – a role Beckham had held since 1998.
In a statement today she said: Mr Armani is an iconic visionary for all things fashion.

‘I’m honored to be associated with him and part of this campaign.’

And the praise from the designer was mutual. Armani called the actress ‘confident and seductive.’

‘She embodies the spirit of the women of today… Her beautiful features reveal femininity, sensuality and strength,’ he said.

She is the latest in a line of high-profile actresses to front a beauty campaign for a major brand.

Taylor Lautner for Giorgio Armani fragrances?

91008ne1_lautner_b_gr_01.jpg

Taylor Lautner is poised to become the next face of Giorgio Armani.

According to a fashion insider, the Italian designer is trying to sign the Twilight hunk for a new ad campaign for fragrances, as well as for his more affordable line of clothing, A/X Armani Exchange.

“Giorgio has offered Taylor a deal rumored to be worth millions for the ads,” the insider reveals.

And although a rep for Taylor denies the story, the insider adds, “Taylor is flattered and really considering it.”

If he does take the job, he’ll have some big briefs to fill.

Soccer star David Beckham sent huge crowds into hysterics when he turned up at Selfridges & Co. in London to unveil his underwear ad.

Taylor completely bulked up to play the werewolf Jacob in New Moon. “I went from a men’s small to a men’s large,” he says.

This Month’s Best Beauty Buys, by Marie Claire!

SPACE FACE
I’m hooked on the ethereal, soft-focus finish of La Mer Treatment Powder Foundation, $90. Fittingly, its base ingredient is Airgel, a literally weightless material used by NASA.

GOLDEN GIRLS
To soften the edgiest makeup looks, Lancome’s Aaron De May cleverly borrows a stroke from Renaissance painters, highlighting faces with gold—on cheekbones, the bridge of the nose, Cupid’s bow, or center of eyelids (my personal fave). Best gilty pleasures: Lancôme Poudre Liberté Highlighting Powder, $40, Sensai The Lipstick by Kanebo, $55, and Avon Anew Ultimate Age Repair Gold Emulsion, $36.

DOUBLE HEADER
Ouidad Double Detangler, $24, is designed to gently unfurl ringlets. But I found it also effortlessly rakes deep conditioner through my long straight hair, pre-swim, making it my new beach-bag staple.

RED EYE
Runway Dorothy-worthy ruby eyeshadow, sparkling up models’ lids at Prada.
Reality Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Red Iron mascara, $28, and palette, $58, serving up vibrant yet flattering crimson shades that most of us can pull off (seriously). The exception: pale blondes (you’ll want to avoid the albino bunny look).

THE BIG APPLES
My beauty crutch: heaps of blush. But fall’s high-drama eyes and shockingly bold lips demand a lighter touch. For a featherweight fix, Sonia Kashuk Super Sheer Liquid Tint, $9.99, serves up just the right dewy dose.
