Get The Look: Elizabeth Olsen and Dakota Johnson at the Toronto International Film Festival

See below for details on how Mark got Elizabeth and Dakota ready for their respective premieres, thanks to Dove Hair!

Elizabeth Olsen Premiere Look
“For the ‘I Saw The Light’ premiere, Elizabeth and I talked about doing an up-do and we wanted to keep it chic and not too overdone. Textured up styles are such a huge trend because the hair is away from the face but still has a style to it.” – Mark

Step 1
Start by placing a few drops of Dove Pure Care Dry Oil on damp hair and comb it through. I’m obsessed with this oil because it nourishes the hair from the inside and then seals the cuticle for smooth, silky hair. It never weighs the hair down!

Step 2
Add a dollop of Dove Style + Care Nourishing Curls Mousse to hair and scrunch while blow-drying for texture.

Step 3
When the hair is dry, take a small amount of Sally Hershberger 24K Texturizing Paste in hands and rake it through the hair for cool texture, hold, and to tame the flyaway hairs.

Step 4
Then pull the hair back and twist it into a bun (you could easily pull hair into a ponytail and then wrap the ponytail around the base) and secure with bobby pins. When putting in bobby pins, always use an even number and apply them in “X” formation for added security.

Step 5
To keep the hair in place (throughout the premiere and after party), finish by liberally spraying Dove Style+Care Extra Hold Hairspray all over.

Dakota Johnson Premiere Look
“For the premiere of ‘Black Mass’, Dakota Johnson inspired and encouraged me to do my favorite thing a textured up do! When I first saw the stunning Alexander McQueen dress she chose for the premiere my mind was overloaded with inspiration. We made the decision to do messy knots in the back and a side part with her fringe. I loved the finished look and so did she!” – Mark

Step 1
Start by applying a few drops of Dove Pure Care Dry Oil to damp hair from mid lengths to ends to seal the cuticle.

Step 2
Spray Dove Oxygen Moisture Root Lift Spray on roots and blow-dry with a round brush. When the hair is dry, take random sections of hair varying from 1 inch to 4 inches and wrap the hair in a figure 8 using the R Session Pro Tools Tidal Waver to create bends throughout the Hair.

Step 3
Take Sally Hershberger 24K Texturizing Paste in hands and rake through hair to make it piecey and to give some hold to the hair.

Step 4
With shoulder length hair like Dakota’s I knew it would be difficult to pull it all back and up in one action — take 2 to 4 inch sections of hair and twist back to create little knots at the nape of the neck, securing each one with 2 bobby pins in an “X” formation. I left the back quite messy because we liked the juxtaposition with the smooth front. Leave some whispy pieces around the face if you wish and blow-dry the fringe to the side with a flat brush.

Step 5
Finish by very liberally spraying Dove Style + Care Extra Hold Hairspray all over hair (to last all night!)

Teen Choice Awards Makeup Get The Look: Sarah Hyland

Celebrity makeup artist, Allan Avendaño gave Sarah Hyland a simple, yet bold makeup look to complement her yellow two-piece outfit with turquoise jewelry.

Avendaño began creating Sarah’s look starting with the eyes first using the Pür Minerals Cease Crease Eye Shadow Primer to create a flawless base. He then used the Soul Mattes Eye Shadow Palette and applied the Confidant shade all over the eyelid. Using a fluffy crease brush, he patted Sidekick and Alter on the outer corners of the eye and blended the shades into the crease. He used that same shadow combination on the bottom lash line.

“To soften any hard edges, I buffed the BFF shade into the crease and used the Companion shade on the brow bone,” says Avendaño.

He then applied two coats of the Pür Minerals Big Look Mascara on the top lashes and one coat on the bottom before applying individual lashes.

Avendaño used the Pür Minerals Color Correcting Primer Illuminate & Glow followed by the Pür Minerals 4-in-1 Liquid Foundation with SPF 15 in Blush Medium with a damp sponge for seamless application. To add dimension to Sarah’s face, he applied the Pür Minerals Mineral Glow on her cheekbones, temples and jawbones. He then applied the Pür Minerals Chateau Cheeks Pressed Powder Blush in Kinky on the apples of her cheeks to add more color.

To highlight, he used the Pür Minerals Afterglow Illuminating Powder on the high points of her cheekbones, the brow bones, the bridge of her nose, the inner corners of her eyes and her cupid’s brow.

To create full and bold-shaped brows, he used the Pür Minerals Wake Up Brows in Mocha and used the highlighter end to amplify the arch of her brow.

Avendaño finished off Sarah’s look by lining and filling in her lips with an orange-red lip liner and applied the Pür Minerals Chateau Kisses Plumping Lip Gloss in Foxy, giving her a hydrated, full and sexy pout.
