Beyonce launches newest fragrance

Singing superstar Beyoncé launches  her newest fragrance this month, Beyoncé Heat Rush, marks the third launch for the multi-grammy winner and acclaimed actress. Following on the heels of her record-breaking first fragrance, Beyoncé Heat, this third installment to her fragrance portfolio captures her shining personality and passion for life, all wrapped in a soft seduction.

Beyoncé Heat Rush shines, sparkles and excites the moment it touches the skin. Surrounded by a luminous fragrant aura, the scent instantly captures attention with sparkling top notes of passion fruit, blood orange and Brazilian cherry.
The heart of the fragrance embodies a delicate floral bouquet and is built upon a carefully blended combination of Yellow Tiger Orchid, Mango Blossom and Orange Hibiscus. Subtle and alluring, the unforgettable base engages with hints of teak wood, honey amber and a musk accord that is inspired by the sunsets in Brazil.

Beyoncé Heat Rush retails for $59 (3.4 fl oz.) and is available at Macy’s and Dillards, nationwide.

Lady Gaga’s new perfume “smells like an expensive hooker”

And that’s a good thing? I guess that’s a step up from smelling like “blood and semen”?

Speaking to Kyle and Jackie O on Australian radio station 2DayFM she said:

“The perfume smells like an expensive hooker! In terms of the process of creating the perfume, I wanted to extract the feeling and the sense of blood and semen from molecular structures. That’s where that came from. That is in the perfume but it doesn’t smell like it.

“You just get the after-feeling of sex from the semen and then the blood is sort of primal. It was taken out of my own blood sample, so it’s a sense of having me on your skin.”

Every time she starts talking about her perfume it totally turns me off. With that said, I’m totally interested to smell it.  But on you – not me!


Dita Von Teese finally creating her own fragrance?

Dita Von Teese has had a long, painful road in creating her own fragrance. Back in December she was rejected by a major perfume company over fears that she wasn’t “famous enough” to carry her own line.

She told WWD.com, “What I really want to do is make my own fragrance. I don’t want to smell like anyone else. I have to talk to the smaller companies, because the bigger ones, like Coty, are like ‘Well, not everyone knows your name, like the Kardashians or Victoria Beckham.’”

Is her dream finally coming true? The burlesque beauty posted on Twitter, “Isolated at a chateau in the French countryside w/my perfumers. “No fruit, no vanilla, no candy!! Velvet sensuality w/a dash of vulgarity! I want to evoke passion with fragrance….intense love/lust and distaste/fear rather than merely popular acceptance.”

Can’t wait to see what she comes up with!
