Justin Bieber is getting in touch with his feminine side.

The pop star, 16, is working on his own fragrance line —just for the ladies. “It’s for my female fans, and I want to create something that will have the girls go crazy,” Bieber tells PEOPLE exclusively of the currently unnamed scent, which launches in high-end department stores next summer.

“Most male celebrities do male colognes for other males,” Bieber adds. “I think that me making a female fragrance is just a different idea and I think it’s going to be successful. I’m just really, really excited about it. It’s going to be really big.”

The Biebs, who also recently announced a unisex line of scented accessories, says Britney Spears‘ fragrances are currently his favorite perfumes on the market, but is less forthcoming when it comes to discussing his preference on colognes.

“I can’t tell you what I wear,” he says with a laugh. “It’s got to be mysterious.”

Bieber, who teamed on the scent with Give Back Brands, a lifestyle products company committed to donating its proceeds to charity, isn’t getting a helping hand from any of his celebrity pals. “This is my project and I want to be hands on,” he says. And it may go without saying, but Bieber says if he could have any woman wear his line, it would be Beyoncé.

The fact that his favorite fragrance is by Britney Spears makes me think his fragrance is gonna SUCK. If they sell your fragrance on the sale rack at the local drug store – chances are, it stinks. Just sayin.

Taylor Swift, who is in the middle of a promotional tour for her new album, Speak Now, has just announced that she’s joining forces with Elizabeth Arden to launch her own fragrance. Taylor will be heavily involved in the process, from packaging to marketing.

“I have always loved how fragrance can shape a memory the way certain scents remind you of events and people that are imprinted in your thoughts,” Taylor said in a statement. “Lately I’ve been having fun experimenting with combining some of my favorite scents, so I’m really excited about working with Elizabeth Arden to develop my own unique fragrance.”

Taylor’s fragrance is expected to hit shelves in the fall of 2011.

Tamara Mellon, the socialite and scene queen behind haute shoe and accessories line Jimmy Choo, signed a perfume deal with Inter Parfums three years ago now, saying at the time, “It has always been my vision to fully accessorize the woman, and fragrance is an integral part of the modern wardrobe.”

Justin Bieber is getting into the fragrance business (along with everyone else!).

WWD reports that the nail polish-shilling pop star has partnered with Etoile Nation Beauty to launch a collection of wristbands and dog tags infused with a unisex scent dubbed “My World.”

Arriving in Walmart stores the day after Thanksgiving (Nov. 26), the scent itself is still under wraps.

“They actually brought me a bunch of stuff to smell today,” Bieber told WWD on Friday.

“One of them smelled too young, too fruity. One was really good,” Bieber said. “I actually like the Britney Spears perfume on girls. It smells good.”

The Canadian crooner also reportedly expressed an interest in designing a line of shoes and said he may shave his head. “I’ve cut this style different ways, but I was thinking about shaving it off or changing it. But I know now isn’t the right time. Maybe [for my] next album.” More From StyleList

Pop star Rihanna is adding the title of “Celebrity Perfumer” to her resume and we’re getting our first look at the singing islander’s debut fragrance, Reb’l Fleur!

Parlux — which will distribute the scent, set for release in 2011 — showed off the perfume during The TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes this week.

“The elegant bottle, which glows from within, is beautifully designed in the shape of a high heel. The bottle is adorned with silken ribbons and a golden ring on the stopper,” Fragrantica.com said Wednesday.

The “Hot N’ Cold” pop hitmaker Katy Perry got into a skin-tight cat suit in purple color and played with a gigantic string ball on a photoshoot of her new fragrance “Purr”. Photographs that will be used for promoting the said perfume are taken by Miles Aldridge.

UK Metro reports that the newest perfume “Purr” is set to be released sometime in November and comes in a “cat-shaped” bottle.

It is reported that the multi-awarded pop singer and husband-to-be Russell Brand are huge fans of cats. The British comedian has a cat named Morrissey, which is named after the former SMITHS frontman.
