Eva Mendes is the face of Thierry Mugler’s Angel fragrance. The beautiful actress sings “The Windmills of Your Mind” in the new commercial. More from Stylist:

After we talked about her beauty routine and long-standing love for the Angel scent, the actress actually revealed that she wasn’t originally slated to sing in the commercial: “They had the original version of the song and they said they wanted to modernize it. I quickly volunteered, I was like, ‘I could modernize it.’ It just happens to be one of my favorite songs. It was a big moment for me.”

The commercial is finally out, and it’s a much more stylized version than the intimate making-of video. Let us know what you think of the final cut. Are you looking forward seeing to Mendes sing in future projects?

Betsey Johnson launching new fragrance called Too Too

Betsey Johnson, 69, just unveiled a new fragrance! The designer recently launched her newest venture, Too Too, and Stylist has the first look!

The perfume is a blend of sweet passion fruit, mandarin, ginger, strawberry leaves, jasmine, patchouli and sandalwood. But there are three aromatic standouts for Johnson.

“The black vanilla is exotic, tasty and strange. The pink musk…it’s heavy duty and super sexy. And the Bulgarian rose, my all time favorite,” she said. “It really nails the guys love its sexiness trail.”

Clearly Johnson’s years as a dancer inspired her latest masterpiece, and the bottle’s pink and black tutu, fishnet and curvaceous corseted top represent special moments on-stage.

“My costume was almost the same as the bottle when I danced the Sugar Plum Fairy, the Can-Can, and Cabaret,” she said.

Too Too ($42-$82) will launch exclusively October 2011 through April 2012 at Sephora before hitting department store and specialty boutique counters in May.

Emily Blunt Scores YSL Opium Campaign

Now that gorgeous auburn actress Emily Blunt has been announced as its new face, Yves Saint Laurent’s OPIUM fragrance is about to get a little more spicy.

The 28-year-old British beauty will model for the timeless, classic fragrance in television, print and outdoor ads shot by Romain Gavras and Patrick Demarchelier, respectively.

“I am very honored to have been chosen to be the face of Opium,” Blunt said in a statement. “It is really exciting to embody a fragrance which has stood the test of time without its allure ever being diminished.” (YSL introduced the perfume in 1977.)

“OPIUM is more than a fragrance; it’s a myth that embraces the whole history and values of our House,” added Renaud de Lesquen, President of YSL & Designer Brands. “Over and above her beauty and elegance, we were impressed by the career and artistic options of Emily Blunt.”

This is the first beauty spokesmodel gig for The Adjustment Bureau actress, who’s married to The Office’s John Krasinski. She follows in the footsteps of model Sophie Dahl, who was photographed for the seductive scent in 2000.

Versace launching a new fragrance – Yellow Diamond

Check out Versace’s latest fragrance, Yellow Diamond! The fresh, floral Yellow Diamond is in an adorned demstone style bottle top and is the latest crystal themed fragrance in the fashion house.

Inspired by her own yellow diamond ring (of course), Donatella Versace told WWD about the concept. “The jewel has always stimulated a feeling of brightness, sensuality and energy, and this is what I set out to capture in this new glamorous, charming and feminine floral fragrance.”

Australian model Abbey Lee Kershaw will star in the ad campaign, shot by Mario Testino in Paris. You won’t be able to miss it when it hits the beauty counters this autumn. Take a look below to see more of our favourite stand-out perfume bottles.

FIRST LOOK! Check out Kim Kardashian’s new fragrance ad!

She may be a married woman now, but don’t expect Kim Kardashian to sit back, relax and play housewife anytime soon.

The reality starlet, who just returned to the states after a brief honeymoon on Italy’s Amalfi coast, is still going full speed ahead with her career, showing off her sultry side in a new ad for Kim Kardashian Gold fragrance. In the photo, Kardashian flaunts her curves in a sexy, cleavage-bearing gold dress, with glowing makeup and a sleek ponytail.

The fragrance, which she says makes her “feel sexy,” combines top notes of Italian bergamot and grapefruit with spicy pink peppercorn, plus a floral heart of jasmine, delicate rose and resins of amber and creamy benzoin. A hint of musk finishes the scent, which is displayed inside a rounded golden bottle.

The entrepreneur released a limited-edition fragrance, Love by Kim Kardashian, in the days before her wedding; all 1,000 bottles were quickly sold.
