Gwyneth Paltrow’s latest Goop newsletter offers up advice for updating your spring closet – for $500K!

Update your Spring wardrobe for only $500,000!! No biggie, right? Well not if you’re Gwyneth Paltrow!

In her latest Goop article, the 40-year-old actress poses in a series of designer outfits for occasions like work, cocktail parties, dinners and casual weekends. The clothes, which all come from Net-a-porter, are meant as “inspiration for outfits for all aspects of your busy life.”

One outfit which she recommends for ‘a nighttime occasion’ consists of a $425 white leather crop-top from Theyksens’ Theory, shiny orange Maiyet shorts for $475, a $925 leopard print Charlotte Olympia clutch and Jimmy Choo heels for $575.

She accessorizes the bright ensemble with a $795 Swarovski crystal necklace and a $1,590 bangle bracelet from Saint Laurent.

For ‘a night in with guests’, the mother-of-two suggests a maxi skirt, which she pairs with a plain grey tank top.

The satin and tulle skirt she models goes for $1,615 from Temperley London, while the racer-back T by Alexander Wang top is a more affordable $77.

To keep the look casual, Ms Paltrow wears flat shoes – a $945 pair of Charlotte Olympia sandals.

And for weekend lounging, the star opts for a slouchy look – silky trousers, a loose sweatshirt and army green sneakers.

The sweatshirt – from Saint Laurent – costs $675, her shoes are $600 Isabel Marant ankle boots, and the silk Chloe pants cost $1,695.

The blonde tops off her casual look with $760 worth of jewelry.

For daytime basics, the actress suggests pastels including a dusty pink T-shirt from Lanvin for $675.

She compliments her girly top with a $265 pair of matching pink Paul and Joe shorts. And to keep the outfit conservative, she sports a $625 white button-down beneath her short-sleeved top.

Okay, I get it, I get it. Gwyneth is super annoying. I read this Goop newsletter when it came in yesterday, and I thought what a pretentious b**ch. Seriously, who can afford this stuff? It’s blatantly obvious that most people CANNOT afford it. And the people who could…do they read her newsletter?

I think most of these clothes are super cute, and sure, in an ideal life I would have Gwyneth Paltrow’s body and Gwyneth Paltrow’s checking account. But I don’t. I think this newsletter would have come across much better had she modeled outfits from Old Navy and H&M. Cute clothes that people can actually afford.

Who’s with me!

See Lady Gaga’s 24k gold wheelchair!

Lady Gaga, 26, is healing from a recent hip surgery, and she’s doing it in style!

The singer is rolling around in this one-of-a-kind luxury wheelchair, complete with a calf leather seat, a leather canopy, and a 24K gold frame. The chair was designed by luxury brand Mordekai.

Designer Borochov said in a statement that he created the ‘chariot’ in a week and took inspiration from a throne.

‘I certainly wasn’t expecting that phone call and have never done a wheelchair but am always up for a challenge and was thrilled to create what I affectionately dubbed the Chariot, a chair fit only for a queen,’ he explained.

Gaga was pictured reclining in the plush chair in a photo posted online by Terry Richardson.

With her blonde hair curled and dressed in what appeared to be a dressing gown and flat shoes, she was taking a break from her usual eye-catching clothing.

Last month Gaga posted a picture of the chair on Twitter introducing it to her followers as ‘Emma’.

It came after the Bad Romance singer was been forced to cancel all 25 remaining U.S. dates, after suffering a severe injury to her right hip that had been causing her chronic pain.

She thanked her fans for their support.

‘As they wheeled me into surgery today, I thought about all of your pain and perseverance, your unique family situations, school environments, health issues, homelessness, identity struggles – sometimes you are so brave that it terrifies me,’ she wrote.

‘So I thought to myself, I’m alive, I’m living my dream, and this is just a bump in the road. I’m grateful because this is temporary, and for some it is not.’

I mean if you can afford the chair…. why not, right? (Although I’m sure she didn’t pay for it…)

Sarah Jessica Parker opens up about the damage heels have done to her feet

Sarah Jessica Parker looks beautiful here! Don’t mind my shock, usually I’m not a huge fan of Sarah’s pictorials. I think her makeup is way too heavy normally, and her styling is just bizarre. But in these new pictures – she looks really great. The pictures are from Net-a-Porter’s digital fashion magazine. In the attached interview, she opens up about Hillary Clinton, how Aldo shoes killed her ankles, her twin daughters and more. Here you go:

Aldo shoes killed heels for her: “For ten or so years, I literally ran in heels. I worked 18-hour days and never took them off. I wore beautiful shoes, some better made than others, and never complained. But then I did ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It’, and I was very thoughtful about my whole wardrobe and said you know, [Kate Reddy] could not afford really good shoes, she would go to Nine West or Aldo. So I got shoes from there and the bottom of the shoes aren’t leather, they are plastic, so I slipped a couple times, twisted my ankle. I went to a foot doctor and he said, ‘Your foot does things it shouldn’t be able to do. That bone there… You’ve created that bone. It doesn’t belong there.’ The moral of the story is, the chickens are coming home to roost. It’s sad, because my feet took me all over the world, but eventually they were like, ‘You know what, we are really tired, can you just stop – and don’t put cheap shoes on us?’”

Her twin daughters Tabitha and Marion (3 years old) fight over clothes: “Oh my God… I don’t know what happens in other homes, but in mine, it’s very, very different and much harder. I probably deserve it – I should have to deal with girls. The emotions run so much higher. The arguing about clothes? I am stunned. We have a whole fashion system to try and override the fighting.”

What’s in her closet?: “I wear seven percent of what’s in my closet. I have more pants, more jeans and more corduroys than I ever imagined I’d own in my life. I have dresses I keep, and I go, ‘Better not throw that out because I’m gonna have an occasion’. But the occasion never presents itself and this weekend I am cleaning it all out. I said to my husband, ‘It’s going to be an echo chamber in there.’”

She’s nice: “Even if there’s someone I don’t like, I can’t bear to bitch about them. And I can’t stand the proliferation of reality shows where women are mean to each other. I can’t believe the way they talk to each other, the names they call each other.”

She wants Hillary to be President: The women she looks up to are “cultured, very curious. They see everything, they read everything, they’re very interested in the world.” Right now, she has high hopes of seeing America’s first female President. “I’m a huge fan of Hillary Clinton. Her curiosity is so compelling to me, her desire to listen and learn and travel. Personally, and I mean this with all sincerity, I will be very, very sad if she doesn’t choose to run. I think she has so much to offer and is equipped to do it well, to be thoughtful, reasonable, strong, authoritative, empathetic. The conventionally female parts of her can partner well with the parts of her that are considered not as female to make a great leader.”

I’m with her on the heels thing. I’m almost 6′ tall as it is – and heels just HURT me. I’ve never been a fan. I even wore flats to my wedding.

As for the Hillary thing – do you think America would vote in a woman?
