WHAT: Revlon’s Global Artistic Director, Gucci Westman, paired a strong brow with rosy, contoured cheeks for the Oscar de la Renta Fall 2011 collection, bringing forth the designer’s vision of an enigmatic eastern traveler.

“The look is about a Mongolian journey,” says Westman. “I darkened the brow and applied touches of pink-hued lipstick to the cheeks to give the illusion of a woman exploring the Siberian tundra.”

Vanessa Hudgens is the new Candie’s Girl!

Following on the heels of Britney Spears and Fergie‘s highly-successful runs, the junior brand has chosen the High School Musical star as the face of their Spring campaign. “Ever since I saw Fergie do the ads for Candie’s, I fell in love,” Hudgens said in a release. “It’s such an honor to be a Candie’s girl.” The campaign, which was shot by fashion photographer Tony Duran, will kick off this March with ads appearing in magazines, billboards and online for the brand, which is sold exclusively at Kohl’s department stores and kohls.com. Hudgens enthuses about the shoot (see a behind the scenes shot below!),”We had a blast shooting the campaign, one of my favorite sets was using the diner countertop as a runway, it’s definitely not every day I get to do that.” We have a feeling the multi-talented 22-year-old’s flirty and fun style will be the perfect match for the juniors’ line!

Lady Gaga releases remix of new song!

Lady Gaga premiered a remixed track from her forthcoming album ‘Born This Way’ for the Mugler men’s fashion show in Paris on Wednesday, and we have the exclusive video premiere — thanks to our friends at StyleList.

Nicola Formichetti, creative director at Mugler, featured the tune in a short film directed by fashion photographer Mariano Vivanco. Michelle Obama was representing America at a state dinner hosting the man who is one of her husband’s biggest rivals on the world stage.

But the First Lady has once again made a daring fashion choice, appearing instead last night in a fiery red gown by British designer Alexander McQueen.

The Obamas were hosting Chinese president Hu Jintao at an elaborate state dinner in Washington last night- and Mrs Obama’s fashion choice was not the only controversial thing on the menu.

It’s Official: Blake Lively and Chanel Collaboration

Chanel has confirmed that the star of it’s next ad campaigns will be Blake Lively.

It’s been something of an open secret for a month now but now we can officially confirm that Gossip Girl star Blake Lively has been picked by Karl Lagerfeld to be the new Chanel ambassador.

Lively is set to star in ads for the new Mademoiselle bag, and the pictures, which will be unveiled in April, have already been snapped. The actress-turned-model got to pose on the iconic staircase in Coco Chanel’s Rue du Cambon studio – and, according to WWD, she was pretty thrilled by the whole experience. ‘How did Cinderella feel when she slipped on the glass slipper? How did Snow White feel when she met her Prince Charming?,’ she gushed. ‘Dream come true is an understatement. I can say that I feel like the happiest, luckiest girl around.’

Blake’s appointment hasn’t come as a great surprise – ever since she was first spotted front row at the Chanel couture show early last year, she and Karl have struck up a friendship, and she’s also been spotted in an impresesive line-up of the label’s dresses. What with this and her friendship with Christian Louboutin, we could find ourselves getting quite envious of the lucky Miss Lively…

Ivanka Trump launches footwear line!

After a successful line of eponymous jewelry, sold under Dynamic Diamond Corporation out of her namesake Madison Avenue jewelry store, Ivanka recently launched her fabulous footwear collection, also aptly named, Ivanka Trump Footwear.

The line of everything from power pumps to red carpet dazzlers will sell exclusively out of Nordstrom stores nationwide, and is surprisingly reasonably priced. In fact, the most expensive shoe in the collection maxes out at around $160. The newly married Trump chatted briefly with Glamour Magazine’s resident fashion junkie, Tracey Lomrantz, and spilled her inspiration for the collection. When asked why she chose to expand her empire to clothing and accessories, Ivanka replied simply, “I love shoes!” Now that’s solid business logic if we’ve ever heard it.

The affordable line officially launched on December 1 and is available in its entirety on Nordstrom’s website. It’s also making its way to brick-and-mortar Nordstrom stores across the country. The styles range from boardroom-appropriate kitten heels all the way to glitzy party shoes.

Spice Girl Geri Halliwell makes her design debut designing swimsuits!

The 38-year-old former Spice Girl looked delighted not only to make her own fashion debut – but to show off her toned and tanned curves too.

Talking about the collection, Geri  told MailOnline: ‘It’s about inspiring confidence with great looking swimwear for all body shapes.’

She has said previously: ‘It’s for real women of all shapes and sizes. Everything is mix and match, so you can choose the exact shapes and styles that suit you.

‘This is a collection that makes you look good and feel fabulous.’
