Dark circles under your eyes?

cover_dark_circles.jpg

Banish those under eye blues with the two-steps-to-pretty approach. First, dab on a light-reflecting primer to brighten things up. It dazzles and distracts so you won’t need as much concealer!

Next, grab a peach- or yellow-toned concealer. Peach wipes out blue hues and yellow cancels purple. Also, don’t forget that dark circles are called circles for a reason, says Sephora Beauty Pro Vanessa Dunn. She recommends dotting concealer all the way around your eye, making sure to get your lids, edges, and that little spot between the corner of your eye and the side of your nose.

Bingo! Eyes that say, “Eight hours every night“…even if it isn’t.

Gimmick or beauty breakthrough?

p218317_hero.jpg

Has anyone tried the new Givenchy mascara that could give us a review? It looks really different and I like the way the brush is shaped to hit every little lash but I do wonder if it’s more gimmick then a lasting beauty must have. And I am not all together sure I wouldn’t poke myself in the eye with that brush.

Phenomen’Eyes Mascara

What it does:

Reader Review: Revlon Fabulash

fabulash.jpg

Thanks to Candy in Dallas, TX for the great review!

Tell us about it!: I’ll be honest: I’m a sucker for freebies. I’m also
deathly loyal to my Diorshow Mascara. But, lets level here, its a costly
daily luxury– so I’ve been in the market to bring in a switch hitter. As a
buy one get one free, I figured two products were worth the review.

I hated this mascara on my first go. After being spoiled with the large
brush of Dior, the puny wand left clumps of goo on my lashes.
I threw it in the drawer and left it to lament. Several weeks later, after
finishing another tube of DiorShow, I decided to clean the wand and use it
as a second step for this mascara. After applying Fabulash, I run the clean
and dry Dior brush over my lashes removing any clumps and seperating them
into perfect knock-off Dior like lashes. This mascara used in this fashion
rocks my world, and you cant beat the price!
