The Estée Lauder brand today announced that it has signed Arizona Muse, one of fashion’s brightest stars, as a new face of Estée Lauder for skincare, makeup and fragrance. Arizona is the latest model to join Estée Lauder’s roster of global beauties which includes Elizabeth Hurley, Carolyn Murphy, Hilary Rhoda, Constance Jablonski, Liu Wen and Joan Smalls.
“Arizona is an incredible modern beauty who will help us continue to elevate the style and aspiration of the Estée Lauder brand,” said Richard Ferretti, Senior Vice President and Creative Director, Estée Lauder. “Her rise to the top of the fashion world in such a short time proves she has the look, poise and personality to resonate with women around the world, in imagery as well as in person.”

Arizona’s rise in the fashion world has been nothing short of explosive. Her ascent to the top of her profession has included extraordinary images created with some of the industry’s most influential fashion photographers such as Steven Meisel, Patrick Demarchelier, and Paolo Roversi within 12 months of her debut runway appearance. She quickly landed the most high profile fashion campaigns and worked with every influential fashion brand and magazine in the world.
Arizona has appeared on the covers of Korean, Australian, French, Russian and British Vogue. During the Spring 2012 couture shows in Paris, she walked for Chanel, Armani and Dior amongst others and will feature in the spring campaigns for Fendi, Karl by Karl Lagerfeld and Isabel Marant. She will walk in more than 30 runway shows in New York, Paris and Milan for Fall 2012.
Arizona was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1988 and was named after her birth state – Arizona. She currently resides in Brooklyn, New York with her son Nikko.
So excited for this new line, I am a huge fan of Mad Men and think this new collection is beautiful. Love the colors and the retro styling of the packaging.
The Estee Lauder Mad Men Collection is a new limited edition makeup collection inspired by the award winning drama, Mad Men. Estee Lauder partners with Mad Men and will introduce two new limited edition makeup collections that will debut in March just in time for the Season Five premiere. The second makeup collection will coincide with the 2013 Season Six premiere.

PETA has lashed out at Avon and Estee Lauder after finding the cosmetic companies are paying for animal testing. The People for Ethical Treatment of Animals announced on their website today that the skincare companies are no longer “cruelty-free” because they are being forced to follow regulations enforced by the Chinese government.
According to PETA, Mary Kay was also included in the list of companies that “harm animals” in the Asian country.
British brand Avon, who recently hired Alesha Dixon as the face, branded the claims ‘misleading’ but admit they are forced to conduct testing in China due to health laws.
A spokesperson said: ‘Some select products may be required by law in a few countries to undergo additional safety testing, which potentially includes animal testing, under the directive of a government or health agency.
‘In these instances, Avon will first attempt to persuade the requesting authority to accept non-animal test data.
‘When those attempts are unsuccessful, Avon must abide by local laws and submit the products for additional testing. In 2011, this affected three tenths of one percent of Avon’s products.’
‘There have been some incorrect and misleading claims made by animal rights organisations. Avon neither conducts nor requests animal testing.’
Estée Lauder have yet to comment.
Both brands have been ‘cruelty-free’ for two decades following campaigns by Peta in the late 80’s.
