Emma Watson Admits to being a beauty product junkie

Emma Watson collects beauty products

The 23-year-old actress has amassed an impressive collection of cosmetics and skincare products over the years which take pride of place in her room, despite confessing she hardly ever wears them.

She told French blog Signé Beauté: ”What’s quite funny is that I have tonnes of products at home. I’ve always loved make-up and I’m fascinated by how much it can transform people. But I don’t actually wear much of it. It’s so ironic – but I just love products!”

The ‘Bling Ring’ star does have three must-have products, however, which she likes to carry in her handbag wherever she goes.

Emma said: ”I’m English and I have fair skin, so I love blusher! When I travel, I always have a moisturising cream with me on the plane and I like to carry fragrance with me too.”

The stylish star – who is the face of luxury brand Lancôme – might be low-key when it comes to her beauty regime, but she always makes sure to take care of her skin.

She revealed: ”I don’t really have a beauty ritual, but I really make an effort to take my make-up off properly. I was taught never to pluck my eyebrows excessively and to always remove my make-up before going to bed.”

The adorable Emma Watson lands the cover of Teen Vogue!

The adorable Emma Watson lands the new cover of Teen Vogue. What better word is there to use for her other than adorable? She’s just so darn cute! I love the freckles – either they’ve always been covered up – or I’ve never noticed she had them before.

I really like her – and I’m excited to see where her career goes next. She landed the cover of Teen Vogue in promotion of her new movie, Sofia Coppola’s new movie, ‘The Bling Ring.’ I’m super excited to see this movie, mostly because I love Sofia – and she doesn’t make nearly enough movies.

After starring in the Harry Potter films as the very sensible Hermione, she has progressed to playing a teenager who steals designer clothes in her latest film. But it seems Emma Watson is still Hermione at heart after she revealed she has only eight pairs of shoes. And despite amassing a fortune of more than £26million, she condemned extravagant celebrity lifestyles as ‘consumerism as a form of kleptomania’.

The 23-year-old stars in The Bling Ring which opens in the UK next week. It is based on the true story of a gang of teenagers who stole £2million of luxury goods from the homes of celebrities in the Hollywood Hills.

Their biggest haul came from the home of heiress Paris Hilton. The 32-year-old socialite whose great-grandfather founded the Hilton Hotels chain, gave permission to film at her home.

For Miss Watson, stepping into Miss Hilton’s vast walk-in wardrobes was like walking into a department store.

Miss Watson said: ‘It’s almost like consumerism as a form of kleptomania. She could never wear all of those clothes and half of them were brand new and still had the price tag on. But I suppose she just bought them to have them. We’ve all bought things on impulse but that’s an entirely different thing.’

However, Miss Watson appears to be much more down-to-earth. She claimed: ‘I’ve got about eight pairs of shoes and that’s it.’ She went on to say she would not describe herself as a celebrity.

She told Radio Times: ‘There’s a whole new definition to celebrity now. And I think that’s why you see a lot of actors blanching at being associated with that word “celebrity” because it’s become something that isn’t really associated with having a craft… But it’s easy for me to sound like a total hypocrite because, of course, I’m dressed in designer clothes right now.’

Following the last Harry Potter film, 2011’s Deathly Hallows: Part 2, Miss Watson has been taking an English literature degree at Brown University in the US.

Commenting on her studies, she said: ‘I’ve always juggled my education with working and I’ve always liked the balance of that. I’ve always liked being able to go and do a film and then take a break and use my brain and do something different. I hope one day to do a Masters. But I’m just going to keep gently moving towards it and I’m not in any particular rush.’

Miranda Kerr kicks off the start of summer in bikinis for Net-a-Porter!

Happy first day of summer! Ready to break out those bikinis!? Uh huh, me too!

Miranda Kerr appeared in this week’s online magazine, and in this week’s issue she models new swimwear. (Just shoot me already.)

In the interview, Miranda opens up about being victim to the ‘Bling Ring,’ leaving Victoria’s Secret, and the secret to keeping her marriage strong.

On having her lingerie lifted by the teen thieves now immortalized in a movie with Emma Watson:

“The weird thing is that I am not attached to things: they come and they go,” she said. “It could have been worse, that’s what I always say about everything. I mean, no one was hurt.”

On the supposedly acrimonious split with Victoria’s Secret:

“Ed [Razek, who has been casting the models for 15 years] and I are really good friends, and we both decided it was impractical for me to continue. I have such fond memories of working with them.”

On her marriage to actor Orlando Bloom:

“I am quite dominant in my career, so what really works for me when I come home, is to relax more into the feminine side,” she says. “If you’re really an alpha female, you don’t allow [your partner] to have the space to feel like the man in the relationship. Maybe I am too traditional, but men feel important when you ask for their help, instead of thinking you can do it all on your own.”

What do you think? Is letting your MAN be the MAN the trick?

Emma Watson in W Magazine: “The allure of being sexy never really held any excitement for me”

Emma Watson graces the W Magazine cover for June, and I think she looks absolutely gorgeous. The styling is perfect, it suits her beautifully!

Emma is promoting her new movie The Bling Ring, which I cannot WAIT to see! It’s a new movie by Sofia Coppola. Looks amazing. (Trailer after the jump.

The interview is long – and really interesting!

What is the first movie you remember seeing?
Pretty Woman. I was 7, which was way, way too young. That was when I started loving Julia Roberts and American movies. As a child, I loved being onstage. I loved singing, I loved the lights, I loved the adrenaline. I even loved learning lines. I was completely obsessive. A friend of my mother’s found a tape of me auditioning for Hermione. I wanted to get really, really good at my lines. There was reel after reel, take after take, of me doing the same thing over and over again.

Did you ever feel the pressure of having to be a shining example to young girls worldwide?
I was always a very serious child. I remember being 13 and girls in my class saying, “So-and-so is going to kiss so-and-so on the school fields.” I said, “That’s stupid. They’re too young for it to matter—he doesn’t love her, and that’s just a waste of time.” It’s amazing that I had any friends! [Laughs] So I was the right child to get cast: I loved the responsibility.

Did you have your first kiss on camera?
Thankfully, no. I’ve always been fascinated by Elizabeth Taylor, and I had read that her first kiss happened on a film set, which actually made me a little sad. You need to have normal experiences of your own. I’ve never wanted to grow up too fast: I wanted to wear a sports bra until I was 22! The allure of being sexy never really held any excitement for me. I’ve never been in a terrible rush to be seen as a woman.
