Kim Kardashian has been working VERY HARD to lose the baby weight she gained while pregnant with North West. She looks great. She has curves where she should – and motherhood just suits her. She looks great.
So what is Kim doing to lose the weight? Not only is she exercising, but she also announced she’s following Atkins diet. When a fan asked her how she’s losing the weight on Twitter, Kim responded “I’ve actually been doing the Atkins diet & luv it.” I’m surprised Kim is doing something that….. old. Atkins was huge in the late 90’s and early 2000’s. Seems so non-trendy for her. I had a family member do the Atkins diet – about 10 years ago – and he lost close to 200 pounds. It’s crazy how quickly you can lose weight. But the whole no-carb thing would kill me. A diet where you’re not allowed to eat FRUIT? Crazy.
US Weekly reports Kim is “eating lots of lean proteins, healthy fats like nuts and avocado, carbs, fruits, veggies and cheese. She wanted to be a healthy, nursing mom and not toxify her milk with her diet or lose weight too quickly. She’s been doing Atkins since her doctor approved it at the end of June.”
