Is it just me, or does Sofia Vergara look very different?

Sofia Vergara (at least I think it’s her) lands the June cover of Cosmopolitan. It looks like the ‘Modern Family’ actress, and yet it doesn’t! Her hair looks odd – and so does her hairline. I dunno, something smells photoshoppy (coming from Cosmo? Shocker!).

Sofia Vergara recently spoke out about freezing her eggs to prepare for a baby with  fiancé Nick Loeb, and according to the actress, that’s more important to her right now than planning their nuptials.

“He was already married with a big wedding, and I was already married with a big wedding,” the ABC “Modern Family” star tells Cosmopolitan magazine in its June issue. “We’re going to do something, but not right now.”

The couple got engaged last summer during a trip to Mexico for the actress’s 40th birthday — and now, she says, they’ve begun to think about their next chapter: parenthood.

“I will have to use a surrogate because I had thyroid cancer and lots of radiation,” says Vergara, who also has an adult son from a previous marriage. “I don’t want to wait forever, but not yet because I’m working like an animal!”

When she’s not on the set of  ”Modern Family,” Vergara, who says, “I love making money!” is looking for movie roles and working on her Kmart fashion line. She’s also enjoying a surprisingly low-key life at home with Loeb.

“No one can be a sex kitten every day, and anyone who tells you that is lying,” says the bombshell star. “But I do wear negligees and Japanese silk robes. For a long time, I lived alone with my son and only saw my boyfriends in a hotel. So at home, I slept in old T-shirts.

“I realized when I moved in with Nick that I couldn’t do that,” she continues. “Now, I only keep nice pajamas around, because whatever is there, I’m going to wear!”

Rachel Bilson lands the April cover of Cosmopolitan, and talks style, “I can never go wrong with a tight dress or a short skirt.”

“Hart of Dixie” actress Rachel Bilson lands the April cover of Cosmopolitan. In the magazine, she opens up about her life and style, and boyfriend Hayden Christensen.

The 31-year-old former “O.C.” actress explains how she and Christensen, 31, make their relationship work despite busy schedules.

“I’m a really good girlfriend – I always put all that first in my life,” said Bilson. “I’m definitely the person who would make him his favorite dinner to come home to.”

Bilson and Christensen have been dating off-and-on for six years, and even abruptly called off an engagement in 2010. The couple met while filming the action flick “Jumper” in 2007.

“I love to cook, so we make dinner at home a lot and watch movies,” she added, about her boyfriend.

Bilson is often cited for her fashion sense, and explains that she does keep her outfits in mind when it comes to men.

“Guys are so visual,” she said. “I can never go wrong with a tight dress or a short skirt.”

“I’m lucky that my boyfriend is open-minded when it comes to fashion,” she added. “There will be an outfit I’m convinced will be too crazy for him and he’s like ‘That’s awesome!’”

I love her, I think she’s so cute! I like that she rarely talks about Hayden, and they’re rarely photographed together. I think keeping things private helps them out. Wonder if they’ll get re-engaged at some point?

Kim Kardashian covers Cosmopolitan Magazine!

Kim Kardashian lands the April cover of Cosmpolitan, and inside the mag, the reality star talks marriage. While her own marriage to Kris Humphries only lasted 72 days, she’s not turned off by the whole thing as a result. She sees people like her sister, Khloe, and her husband, Lamar Odom, and thinks their speedy marriage has done just fine! (They were only dating for a month before they got MARRIED in 2009!)

“I saw fast marriages like Khloe and Lamar’s and that was what seemed to work. [Now] I say give it a good six months before you commit. Feelings change, even if it seems so lustful,” Kim tells Cosmopolitan in the magazine’s April issue.

Kim tells Cosmo that she and beau Kanye West are taking their time, when it comes to their relationship of 10 months. “Sometimes you’re just not ready,” she says. “A person could have it all, and you’re not ready for it all. But this is where I probably always should have been…[marriage] is something I know that we both want in our future, but I don’t have this sense of urgency about it. I have this best friend who understands me and helps me through all my tough experiences, and vice versa, you know? It just feels like this is it for me.”

Kim, who is scheduled to give birth to her first child with West in July, adds, “I’ve always said that I wanted kids, but I don’t think I ever would have been ready until now.”

Kim admits her views have become less conservative since sister Kourtney got pregnant in 2009. “I was like, ‘You’re not married! How could you do this?’ I was really firm and strict,” Kim tells Cosmo. “But she was like, ‘Marriage isn’t what I want.’ And later, I realized she had a better family life than I did.”

However, Kim and Kourtney’s brother Rob begs to differ. In January, he told People, “I’m so proud of my sisters, but I’ll be married before I have a baby.”

A bra-less Miley Cyrus covers Cosmopolitan, and talks about life post-Disney, and her fiance, Liam Hemsworth

Miley Cyrus used to be Disney’s little darling, when she played Hannah Montana for years. A new, edgier, Miley is emerging as she gets older, and the actress insists she was never squeaky clean to begin with. The 20-year-old posed for a series of racy pictures in the new Cosmopolitan.

In the interview, Miley opened up about growing up as a Disney star, and how she always tried to be herself, even if that meant shedding her clean image at an early age. “Some of the worst things that have happened in my career, like things getting leaked, have actually been what’s best for me, because people knew when I was on that show that I was really growing up. I never faked anything. I never played the Disney game of smiling and being a princess and then suddenly having a hard time, saying, “That isn’t who I really am.”’

Miley’s getting ready to make a music comback, but her main priority right now is her fiance, actor Liam Hemsworth. “Number one is my relationship with Liam,” she said. “That’s what I feel the most confident in because you never know; there’s so much hype behind my new record, but it could come out and, worst-case scenario, everyone f***ing hates it.”

Miley still can’t believe that she’s marrying Liam, because she often finds herself gawking over how hot he is. “I’ll literally look at him and be like “You are hot, dear god!”’ she said. “The other day, I turned on the pool heater and it was steaming, and he walked outside and took off his clothes and jumped in the pool. I was like, “I’m gonna faint – the hottest guy of my life is in a steaming pool. This looks like a Playgirl shoot.” So I took a photo and made it the background on my phone. My best friend grabbed my phone and was like, “Who’s that? He is so hot!” That’s my hubby!’”

Miley’s new album sees her collaborating with a surprising array of artists, including Mary J Blige, and the star focuses so much on her individuality that she feels there is ‘room for everybody’ in the music industry.

Katy Perry’s been my friend for f***ing five years, and I’m not ever gonna let our work get between that relationship,’ she said.

‘If Katy sticks with being Katy, and Ke$ha is Ke$ha, and Rihanna is Rihanna, and I’m me, there’s room for everybody. The problem is when people look at Gaga and say, “Oh, that works; I’m going to be like that.”’

She added of her latest musical venture: ‘It’s almost like being a new artist and trying to make a first impression. I think the best thing I could have done was take those two years off to really live, because now people don’t think of me as who I was on the TV show.’

What’s your take on Miley? I don’t really love her – or hate her. I just think she’s sorta there. I can appreciate her honesty, and ability to shake things up, like shaving her head. I like her who-gives-a-s**t attitude. With celebrities these days, it’s nice to see someone who’s just going to do and say whatever they want, and don’t care much about what anyone thinks.

Julianne Hough lands the February cover of Cosmopolitan!

The adorable Julianne Hough lands the February cover of Cosmopolitan. In the interview, Hough reveals that she was abused mentally and physically while living in London as a young girl. She also discusses her relationship with Ryan Seacrest and her upcoming film, Safe Haven: a story of a girl who survives horrific abuse at the hands of an ex-boyfriend who eventually learns to open up and accept the love of a handsome widower played by Josh Duhamel (in theaters February 14th).

Hough on her time in the UK as a child where she studied dance at London’s prestigious Italia Conti Academy of Arts:

“I was 10 years old looking like I was 28, being a very sensual dancer. I was a tormented little kid who had to put on this sexy facade because that was my job and my life. But my heart was the same, and I was this innocent little girl. I wanted so much love.”

With her parents an ocean away, Hough says the adults around her took advantage. “While I was in London, I was abused, mentally, physically, everything,” she says. In what way or by whom exactly, she declines to say: “I’m a very forgiving person, and I don’t want to hurt anybody. What’s past is past.” A ripple of tension tightens a face that is always so relaxed and bright, like a sheet being pulled tight. It got worse, she says, “when I started hitting puberty, when I started becoming a woman and stopped being a little girl.”

On not speaking much about the situation prior to now:

“This is the farthest I’ve ever gotten into my London situation. I was told if I ever went back to the United States, three things were going to happen. One: I was going to amount to nothing. Two: I was going to work at Whataburger. And three: I was going to end up a slut. So, it was like, I can’t go back. I have to be this person.”

On her upcoming film, Safe Haven:

On the set of Safe Haven, director Lasse Hallstrom called on Hough to improvise in ways she’d never done before. He even asked her to speak, in character, on camera, about “some of the horrors she had been exposed to in London” as a way of revealing her character’s painful past. So one night, in a small house in the woods of North Carolina, [co-star Josh] Duhamel and Hough took off their clothes and got into bed. As the cameras rolled, Hough spoke for nearly an hour: “I went from bawling to containing to laughing to crying again. Josh was crying. I think it was the most therapeutic moment of my life.”

Enjoy the trailer for ‘Safe Haven’ below! I hope that this movie is good. I loved ‘Dear John’ and HATED ‘The Vow’.

The Kardashian sisters cover the December cover of British Cosmopolitan

Fresh from being awarded the ‘Ultimate Confidence Queens’ at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards 2012, the Kardashian sisters speak exclusively to British Cosmopolitan about how they remain confident despite living their lives under the microscope.

How do the sisters stay positive when people criticize them?

Khloé: “It isn’t easy. My weight fluctuates, like any normal girl, and I have times when I feel insecure. So if I come under scrutiny at one of those times, then I might get really down on myself. But the next day, I might be like, ‘Oh, f**k off, I’m so much better than that.’ I have moments of weakness, but mostly I brush the criticism off… Who cares if I’m not a size zero? I don’t want to be.

I love my body; I’m healthy, I work out. But I also enjoy life… the more scrutiny I am under, the more confident I become. I am who I am. I can’t do anything about it, and I love who I am.”

What does confidence mean to the girls?

Kim: “It’s amazing. I want to teach my future daughters – and Penelope [Kourtney’s four-month-old] – that confidence is everything. I don’t mean cockiness; just being sure of yourself.”

Kourtney: “It is. I always remember high school and think, ‘If only I had the confidence back then that I have now.’”

Who do they turn to for a confidence boost?

Kim: “… My boyfriend [Kanye West]. He’s great at boosting my confidence. He gives me compliments in every way possible.”

Whose confidence do they admire?

Kourtney: “I think our sister Kylie [16] has such confidence; it’s just amazing.”

Kim: “She’s such an old soul. I’ve been going to her for relationship advice for years. She has always steered me in the right direction since she was about 12. She would be like, ‘OK, do not call him.’”

Kourtney: “I admire Rihanna and Victoria Beckham. They always look so confident.”

What are their style tips for confidence?

Khloé: “I like a bright lip. Even if you have no other makeup on, it makes you look chic and ‘done’. And my hair down, messy and long.”

Kourtney: “I like putting my hair up into a little bun – that always makes me feel put together. I also spray my face with rose water. It makes me feel clean and fresh, even if I’m sweaty and gross.”

Kim: “Big sunglasses. You can have no makeup on, but a cute outfit that just looks effortless, then put on some big shades and you’re good to go.”

Does being compared affect their sisterly relationship?

Kourtney“I truly want the best for my sisters from the bottom of my heart. When they feel pain, I feel pain. Their struggles are my struggles. And their joy is my joy. Nothing anyone says can change that. Every person is different. That’s what makes the world go round.”

The Kardashian sisters won the Ultimate Confidence Queens Award at the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women Awards 2012 with VO5 on 30th October.

The award has been celebrated by featuring the Kardashians on the cover of the December issue of British Cosmopolitan. The December issue is on sale on 8th November and the Kardashians feature as one of two covers.
