Naya Rivera covers Cosmopolitan, “Latinas are really great nurturers who are great to our men”

‘Glee’ actress Naya Rivera is ready to be a married woman! After getting engaged to Big Sean last October, the 27-year-old talks with Cosmopolitan about her hopes for the future.

“I think he’s going to be an amazing husband, and he’ll make a great father someday,” Rivera says of her fiance. “He’s so kind to people, but he also wears the pants in our relationship, which I love. We Latinas are very independent and strong, so it’s even sweeter that I’ve found somebody who can let me out of that role for a minute.”

“Latinas are really great nurturers who are great to our men; we love hard and we love to cook,” she said. “The other morning I woke up and was like, ‘I need china — this table needs to be set all the time!’ Focusing on those things is where I’m at right now.”

They couple hasn’t revealed a wedding date yet, but Naya is already wedding gown shopping. She was spotted at the Monique Lhuillier botique in Beverly Hills back in October.

She can’t wait to have children, and to be able to teach them Spanish! “It sucks because I have no one to [speak Spanish] to, but it’s something I need to learn when I have kids,” she says. “They need to be fluent.”

Kelly Osbourne covers Cosmopolitan UK, talks about her multiple stints in rehab

Kelly Osbourne covers the September issue of Cosmopolitan UK. In the issue, Kelly opens up about her past problems with drugs, and how she had to learn to take care of her parents.

She confessed, “I’ve been to rehab seven times and to two mental institutions.” She added that her mom Sharon supported her throughout each trip to rehab. “My mum even had me put in a padded cell once to scare me,” Kelly, 28, said, “but like a brat I just sat it out until she said ‘Well, that’s not going to work.'”

In return, Kelly learned to take care of her mom 10 years ago when she was battling cancer. “When I was 18, I was set to play Lindsay Lohan’s best friend in ‘Freaky Friday.’ Then my mom got diagnosed with cancer. I was faced with the choice of a career or spending what could have been the last days of my mother’s life with her.”

She bailed on the movie, and decided to stay near her mom. “I said, F— you, career, hello, Mother. I became my mum’s nurse 24/7. I gave her injections and medicines when she had seizures. I even had a parking space at the hospital with my name on it. I thought I was going to lose her, it was awful.”

She went on to talk about having to take care of her father after a near-fatal quad crash in 2003. “He couldn’t move from the neck down and was basically a paraplegic, so I slept on the floor by the side of his bed for four months. I brushed his teeth and washed his clothes, and every day we’d put on our swimsuits and I’d shower him,” she says. “Not many people can say they’ve wiped their mother and father’s arses more than they’ve wiped their own,” she adds.

My mom has been battling terminal cancer for years, so I understand how difficult it is having a sick parent. It’s excruciating.

Nina Dobrev stuns on the cover of Cosmopolitan!

Nina Dobrev lands the September cover of Cosmopolitan, and she looks absolutely gorgeous, no? A bit JWoww if you ask me, but beautiful, nonetheless. Nina’s headline reads “strong” and “single,” confirming her recently split from Ian Somerhalder.

There aren’t many tidbits from the interview yet, just a couple.

On her BFF Julianne Hough: “It’s been cool to find an active buddy – there are a lot girlie girls around. We don’t talk about makeup; we talk about life.”

What’s next for Nina?:  “I want to open my own yoga studio. Panning construction and looking at properties is fun. I’m using a different part of my brain. You know that feeling when you use a different muscle? You’re excited to be exercising it, but you get a little sore! Yoga changed my life. Hopefully, it will do that for others.”

I follow Julianne on Instagram, and she DOES hang out with Nina a ton. The two of them seem like really great friends.

Aubrey Plaza Covers The Fall 2013 Issue Cosmopolitan for Latinas

Part Puerto Rican actress and comedian Aubrey Plaza is Cosmo for Latina’s Fall cover girl!

“A lot of people don’t assume I’m Puerto Rican because I’m fair-skinned, but I feel very connected to that side of my family.”

“Humor is always the way I deal with everything. Whether it was a shitty job, a boring class, or anything, my brain is always looking at it through that lens.”

“[The best song to grind to at a high school dance is…] Genuwine’s ‘Pony’—duh!.”

“My aunts and uncles used to teach my friends salsa at all my birthday parties in middle school. It. Was. Awkward.”
