MAC Cosmetics is teaming up with Lorde!

New York Magazine’s The Cut is reported that “Royals” singer Lorde will be launching a makeup collection with MAC. I have to say – ever since seeing Lorde and her dramatic makeup on the Grammys, I had a feeling then it was only a matter of time.

Lorde teamed up with MAC Senior Makeup Artist Amber Dreadon for her Grammys look. Here’s what Amber had to say: “I have loved M A C Cosmetics since I was a little kid. I remember saving up to buy my very first M A C lipstick [Snob] at 14, and it was used by about 20 of my friends! M A C has a very clear aesthetic, that has always felt fashion forward to me. So I was really excited to work with them on these products, which I use pretty much every day and night. I hope you will too.”

Are you excited to see the collection? I AM!

The adorable Shailene Woodley lands the cover of Teen Vogue!

I love her.

The beautiful Shailene Woodley stars in the upcoming movie, Divergent, and we’re about to start seeing a whole lot more of her. Divergent, like Twilight, is based off a young-adults book series. I haven’t read those, and I’m not interested to see the movie…. at all. I might, because I have teenage boys…but I probably won’t pay to see it.

Shailene seems to be a really great person. Like Jennifer Lawrence, she’s young, down-to-earth, and completely likable. You don’t see her out there acting like  Lindsay Lohan or Kristen Stewart. She’s different, it seems.

She lands the latest cover of Teen Vogue, here are some excerpts:

Romance on the set? “That’s crazy! I never thought about that. I haven’t had time to think about a relationship! I literally have not had a boyfriend in almost five years. I’ve never even hooked up with anybody I’ve worked on a movie with.” [Pause] Well, that might have happened on something …”

She will just be herself: “I was once told by a studio that I needed to make my look more cosmopolitan, that I needed to create a persona. I looked at them and said, ‘You just told me I wasn’t good enough to be myself. And that is not OK.’”

On Twilight: Twilight, I’m sorry, is about a very unhealthy, toxic relationship. She falls in love with this guy and the second he leaves her, her life is over and she’s going to kill herself! What message are we sending to young people? That is not going to help this world evolve.”

Katie Holmes lands the April cover of Elle UK

Katie Holmes lands the April cover of Elle UK, and inside the magazine she opens up about her six-year-old daughter, Suri, living in New York and much more.

She admits that Suri’s upbringing is much different than her own, which was spent on the western end of Lake Erie in her native Toledo. “Children are exposed to so much more than we were, I suppose every generation goes through that feeling, “Oh my God, it’s so different from how I grew up,’” she said. “I think the basics are very important: the number one thing is making sure my child feels loved. And good about herself. And that what she does and who she is, is special and important, and should be celebrated. And my mum always said, ‘No one loves you like your mother.’”

Katie, who gave birth to Suri in 2006 when she was married to Tom Cruise, admits that motherhood has changed how she views women. “I think all of our experiences bring us to a greater understanding of ourselves and help us realise what is most important. That being said, I have three older sisters and one older brother and I went to an all-girls school, and have always been a fan of women. I support women and all experiences give you more insight into others, as well as yourself.”
