Miley Cyrus goes nude to help sell magazines.

Seems like magazine sales are low for V Magazine! The magazine released a sneak peek of their upcoming Rebel Issue, via Miley Cyrus‘ Instagram page.

The singer appears naked – on a pile of stuffed animals – with the word “Subscribe” covering up her lady bits. The photos were taken by Karl Lagerfeld, and she was styled by Carlyne Cerf De Dudzeele.

Apparently on the cover of the magazine, Miley appears in furry, blue bodysuit (can’t wait!).

V explains the idea behind the Rebel Issue:

V91 focuses on the art of rebellion. But before you think us punks or misfits, it should be noted that we’re not necessarily talking about that type of rebellion associated with being deliberately defiant or rowdy, but rather with the idea of taking ownership of one’s ideas and craft and not compromising even when difficult situations arise. Staying true to one’s self and one’s art, no matter what, takes courage and discipline, which is vital to any artist’s survival.

Get the Look: Jaime King at the Sin City 2 Premiere‏

“The look we created tonight is what I like to call ‘evening glamour goddess'”, said Burt’s Bees lead makeup artist Katey Denno. Prepping natural beauty Jaime King for the Sin City 2 premiere, Katey kept Jamie’s look sleek, sexy, and perfectly understated to compliment her stunning Versace gown.

“Wanting to play up Jaime’s luminous, gorgeous skin, I began with a face oil and serum to prep the skin. I kept her foundation super light, using liquid foundation on her t-zone, and adding polka dots and moon beams along her cheekbones, the bridge of her nose, and her Cupid’s bow with a highlighting stick.

Next, I intensified her glowing and healthy cheeks with a little mauve cream blush.

Since this look was all about fresh, I kept Jaime’s eye makeup minimal, exaggerating her lash line with some extra lashes, her lids with a glowing nude eye shadow, and a whole lot of mascara. I finished with a matte brown shadow to define her crease.

Jaime likes a full brow, so I defined her brows with a soft brown shadow and brushed them into place.

Finally — the lips! On her lips, I kept it simple with Burt’s Bees new Lip Crayons in Sedona Sands and Hawaiian Smolder ($9, burtsbees.com). Together, it was the perfect pink-nude to complete the fresh faced look, and with a matte/satin finish, her lips will stand out perfectly, and will stay moisturized all night long.”

Shailene Woodley Beauty Look: Teen Choice Awards‏

FOX's 2014 Teen Choice Awards - Press Room

Last night celebrity makeup artist, Roxy, was behind the scenes with Shailene Woodley getting her red carpet ready for the Teen Choice Awards, where she picked up awards for Choice Movie Actress in an Action/Adventure for her role in Divergent and Choice Movie Actress in a Drama, for her role in The Fault in our Stars.

“We wanted to keep Shailene’s makeup clean and not competitive with her gorgeous and colorful Peter Pilotto dress,” said Roxy. “Using monochromatic colors on her eyes and cheeks, I defined her features to make them pop while not overwhelming her with color. Her soft plum rose lip – which we created using tarte’s LipSurgence™ matte lip tint in hope, was the perfect finishing touch to her ultra-feminine look.”

Roxy began by spraying Caudalie’s Beauty Elixir Spray all over Shailene’s face, neck and décolletage to revive, sooth and hydrate her skin. She then prepped her skin further, applying tarte’s clean slate™ flawless 12-hr brightening primer with tarte’s the buffer™ airbrush finish bamboo foundation brush which helped spread the primer all over the face, evenly and fast. “This primer gives off a subtle sheen while delivering a blend of vitamins to the skin and holds makeup for hours,” said Roxy.

Roxy applied tarte’s Amazonian clay full coverage airbrush foundation in fair-light honey with tarte’s airbuki bamboo powder foundation brush all over the face in circular motions to melt the makeup into Shailene’s skin. “I started at the center of her face and blended out to her jawline until it was seamless,” said Roxy. “This powder foundation does an excellent job at providing great coverage while leaving the complexion still looking natural with a velvet-like finish.”

“Since color was not a big part of this look, I wanted to do more with sculpting to bring out her beautiful features,” said Roxy. She played up the definition on Shailene’s gorgeous cheek bones with tarte’s Amazonian clay matte waterproof bronzer in park ave princess™. For this look Roxy applied the bronzer right under Shailene’s cheek bones and softly at her temples.

“Since glowing skin is always a priority to us, I applied Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Aqua Foundation Illuminator down the bridge of her nose, around the outer corners and above her brows in a C shape manner,” said Roxy. Roxy used her fingers to get the right amount of product applied evenly and took a sponge over it to melt it perfectly into Shailene’s skin.

For the eyes, Roxy started by applying tarte’s clean slate™ 360º creaseless 12-hr smoothing eye primer. She wanted to sculpt the eyes in a monochromatic manner to keep it simple while still bringing out the best in Shailene’s gorgeous eyes. Roxy started by applying tarte’s Amazonian clay waterproof cream eyeshadow in shimmering bronze along the edges of her top and bottom lash lines. She diffused it softly with tarte’s undercover lover™ bamboo concealer brush, which allowed her to blend it softly but keep the strength of the color intact. Roxy then applied some nude-taupe shadows in the outer corners of Shailene’s eyes from tarte’s rainforest after dark limited-edition colored clay eye & cheek palette.

On Shailene’s eyebrows Roxy used tarte’s colored clay tinted brow gel in medium brown to give them a little more structure than usual and keep them in place. “This brow gel is awesome because the brush is so tiny it makes detailing the brows naturally very easy,” said Roxy.

“Shailene loves to apply her own mascara and swiped on 2 coats of tarte’s gifted™ Amazonian clay smart mascara to finish the look to her eyes,” said Roxy. “This mascara added a bit more drama to her eyes by lengthening and curling her lashes perfectly.”

On her lips Shailene applied tarte LipSurgence™ matte lip tint in hope straight from the pen. “This muted down-plum rose color was a wonderful finish to Shailene’s monochromatic look because it fit with in the color family of her eye shadow and cheeks, but added a bit of feminine softness to her over all look.”

Check out Rihanna’s NEW Viva Glam campaign!

Rihanna’s latest campaign with MAC is finally here!

Rihanna unveiled her second campaign with Viva Glam MAC today on Twitter. In the ad, the singer is sporting a neon green wig and dress. Interesting look, isn’t it?

MAC revealed on their website that they’ve partnered with the singer on a frosted metallic mauve lipstick and lipgloss. They added Rihanna’s “fearless, confident style” made her perfect for the campaign.

The lipstick for Viva Glam Rihanna II will come in warm mauve with silver frost, while the lipgloss will be a cool mauve with red frost. Priced at $16 and $15 each, it’s probably the closest (and cheapest) you can get to covering Rihanna’s ever-changing look.

There’s another reason to make like RiRi and get icy — in keeping with their past promise, MAC said all profits from Viva Glam Rihanna II will go to “helping women and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.”

What’s the verdict… Are you a fan?
