I love Amanda Seyfried.  She shot to stardom opposite Lindsay Lohan in 2004′s Mean Girls.  She went on to play Sarah Hendrickson in HBO’s polygamy drama Big Love.  (Man, I looooooooove Big Love)  Last year she sang and danced in the mega blockbuster Mamma Mia, which earned over $500 million!

Love it or Hate it: Blake Lively’s hair

I thought Blake Lively’s dress at last night’s Emmy Awards was beautiful, but her HAIR! UGH! I thought it looked terrible!  The braid is just weird looking! It’s too thick, and too high. I thought her hair would have been so beautiful down, and curly – but this look was a hot mess (at least I thought so).

Get the Look – Christina Hendricks!

Mad Men is hands down my favorite show on television right now! Christina Hendricks, who plays the sexy secretary Joan on the show, appeared beautiful as ever at last night’s Emmy Awards.

So how was this look accomplished?

Prepping Christina Hendricks for the evening, her makeup artist Georgie Eisdell says, “The look we went for with Christina had a little 20′s influence. I wanted it to keep Christina’s makeup really fresh, clean and elegant. I prepared her skin with La Mer’s The Moisturizing Lotion – it’s perfect to hydrate the skin with being greasy and a perfect base for foundation.

Next, I love La Mer’s Treatment Fluid Foundation SPF 15 for Christina. It is light on the skin but gives excellent coverage where needed.

Under her eyes I used La Mer’s new Radiant Concealor SPF 25 – a genius product, it goes on so easily and does not cake under the eye.

Before I started on her eye I lathered her lips with La Mer’s The Lip Balm. I love using this on Christina; she has full lips so keeping them hydrated is really important and when it’s time to apply lipstick it goes on beautifully.”

Ginnifer Goodwin, star in the HBO series “Big Love” has made her mark in Hollywood on the red carpet at last nights 2009 Emmy Awards! mark celebrity makeup artist Mai Quynh explains how she created Ginnifer’s gorgeous red carpet look.

How to Get Ginnifer’s Red Carpet look:

Face

“Ginnifer wore a beautiful, Fuschia strapless dress, so we wanted to keep her look more neutral, but focused on her eyes. To get her look, I started by applying mark Face Xpert Flawless Touch Makeup in Buff with a foundation brush. I then applied mark Get Bright Hook Up Highlighter in Light above her cheekbones and mark Good Riddance Hook Up Highlighter in Fair/Light under her eyes. Once the foundation and creams were applied, I set everything by dusting mark Matte-Nificent in Buff/Natural with a powder brush. And finally, to give her a warm glow, I swept mark Good Glowing Mosaic Blush in Hush Baby on her cheeks using the blush/bronzer brush.”

Eyes

“For her eyes, I started by applying mark Winkstick Hook Up Eyeshadow Stick in Glitzy to her entire eyelid. Next, I layered mark I-Mark Custom Pick Eyeshadow in Tiki from her lash line to the crease using an eyeshadow brush. I then blended mark I-Mark Custom Pick Eyeshadow in Espresso into the crease of her eyes using an angled contour eyeshadow brush and smudged Tiki along her bottom lash line using an eyeliner brush. I finished by applying two coats of mark Make it Big Lash Plumping Mascara in Raven.”

Lips

“I completed Ginnifer’s look by layering mark Dew Drenched Moisturlicous Lip Color in Skinny Dip and mark Pro Gloss Lip Plumping Lip Shine in Swell to her lips.”

Beyonce’s new fragrance slapped with a lawsuit!

Superstar Beyonce has been hit with a trademark infringement lawsuit from bosses at American clothing firm Abercrombie & Fitch over plans to release her own perfume using the name of her alter ego Sasha Fierce.

The Irreplaceable hitmaker revealed on Tuesday she had signed with fragrance house Coty to launch her own scent by spring 2010.

Beyonce, who has previously been the face of Tommy Hilfiger’s True Star range of perfumes and Emporio Armani’s Diamonds, said, “For me, fragrance reflects a woman’s attitude and unique sense of style.

“While I love various perfumes, I haven’t found a scent that truly personifies me as a woman. Working with Coty, I was able to turn my ideal fragrance into a reality by creating an alluring and sophisticated fragrance; one that’s reflective of my inner power.”

But news of Beyonce’s big money deal has prompted Abercrombie & Fitch to take legal action over fears her Sasha Fierce perfume will cause confusion among shoppers with their own-branded Fierce fragrance.

Company executives filed a federal lawsuit in Columbus, Ohio on Tuesday in a bid to block Beyonce and Coty releasing their scent with the word ‘fierce’ in its name.

The legal papers state the singer’s fragrance plan “poses a likelihood of confusion” for consumers and could cost Abercrombie & Fitch in sales.

They argue Fierce is the fashion brand’s “signature” scent and is regularly sprayed around its retail stores so that “all garments that leave the store have the Fierce scent attached to them”.

Abercrombie & Fitch has grossed more than $190 million in profits from the Fierce fragrance since 2002 and expects to pull in $64 million in sales this year (09) alone.
