The beautiful Kristen Wiig is Marie Claire’s August cover girl!

Kristen Wiig is Marie Claire’s August cover girl. She looks gorgeous! The ‘Saturday Night Live’ comedian opens up with the magazine about her humble beginnings, and dreaming for a bigger and better life. “I wanted to be Justine Bateman,” she says, recalling the slyly appealing sibling on the Michael J. Fox sitcom Family Ties. “She was so cool. Or Lisa Bonet“—The Cosby Show’s resident Bohemian. “I just didn’t think it was an option, coming from a town where people don’t pack their bags and move out to Hollywood.”

Here is more from the interview, which you can read in full here:

Kristen Wiig on trying out for Saturday Night Live in 2005:

Wiig came to New York from Southern California in autumn 2005 to join the cast of Saturday Night Live, bringing with her a handful of impressions (Drew Barrymore, Björk, Jessica Simpson), a few characters she’d developed while with the influential Los Angeles improvisation group The Groundlings, and a secret fear that she’d soon be run out of town on a rail. “I remember being so scared,” she says, “that after I was done with those characters—if they made it on the show—that I wouldn’t have any other ideas.”

Kristen on her boyfriend, Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti:

Not overly inclined toward personal revelation—”I am shyer than most people think”—the 38-year-old Wiig states it plain nonetheless: “I will say that I’m happier than I’ve ever been,” she says, “and I feel very lucky right now.” Why? “Where I am now. Who he is. Those are the two big ones.”

On leaving ‘SNL':

As we chat, it’s been little more than 100 hours since Wiig’s final show as a cast member on SNL, capping a seven-season run that made her a deeply beloved comedic star. “I know a lot of people probably assume, ‘Oh, she’s leaving because she is going to be doing movies now and things like that,’ which I will be,” she notes. “But I just always knew it was going to be seven and that was it. I think maybe if I were 22, I could see myself staying a little bit, but it just felt like the right time.”

Still, “it was very emotional,” she says, nursing a double-shot cappuccino. “I just wanted to get through it without breaking down in every sketch. Because nothing says comedy like breaking down.”

On her final ‘SNL’ scene, where Mick Jagger serenaded her:

“It was a very surreal moment,” she says. “You have all this stuff going on in your head, like, ‘I can’t believe seven years has gone by, and I’m going to miss all these people.’ And I’m like, ‘Oh, by the way, Mick Jagger is to my right, and I just danced a waltz with him.’ So there’s that.”

I just love her – but I’m so sad to see her leave ‘SNL’. She might have been the only reason I watched the show in the first place. I can’t imagine it without her!! That being said, I can’t wait to see where her career goes from now! ‘Bridesmaids’ is hands down one of my all-time favorite movies. She’s pure genius!

Pro-anorexia site calls Kate Upton “vulgar”

She’s disgusting, isn’t she.

Kate Upton has been called many things, and now we can add “vulgar” to the list. A pro-anorexia website has slammed the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl for her weight problem, claiming she’s 30 pounds too heavy.

The website (which I won’t mention) calls Upton a “cow”. “Let’s not pretend this is fashion. She looks thick, vulgar, almost pornographic – and she is a solid 30 lbs too heavy for this outfit,” read the site.

Unsurprisingly, they weren’t too entertained by Upton’s recent commercials for Carls Jr. burgers (see it here). “Huge thighs, NO waist, big fat floppy boobs, terrible body definition – she looks like a squishy brick. Is this what American women are “striving” for now? The lazy, lardy look? Have we really gotten so fat in this country that Kate is the best we can aim for? Sorry, but: eww!”

Pro-anorexia websites have been a worrisome part of online culture for over a decade, but as they grow increasingly “mainstream,” it’s important for the media to acknowledge how problematic they are — and to counteract them with positive messages for young women.

Popular social media/blogging site Tumblr has even had to add a stipulation to its terms of use. In February, they implemented a policy against blogs that promote eating disorders and self-harm. They also began streaming PSAs when users searched for eating disorder or self-harm related tags.

What’s more vulgar – Kate Upton’s curves – or the fact that there are pro-anorexia sites. How awful! Just what teenage girls need these days. I think the world needs more curvy models! I admit, Kate wears some pretty skimpy bikinis (doesn’t get more skimpy than this), but at least she has the curves to fill them!

Here are some new outtakes from her racy GQ photo shoot, taken by none other than Terry Richardson. You can check out her July cover here.

Celebrity Beauty Tips!

Zoe Saldana puts mayonnaise in her hair.
“My mother was a hippie and very health conscious, so growing up, she always encouraged my sisters and I to be as natural as possible. She gave us a book she bought at a garage sale about natural beauty remedies and we used to look up everything, like how to make masks out of oatmeal or give our hair highlights using henna tea or even rum. Once a year, we all still get together and put mayonnaise in our hair for old times’ sake.” via Refinery 29

Beyoncé loves Aquaphor.
“I use Aquaphor for everything — on my elbows, on my feet. [I wear perfume] in my hair, because a lot of people get a nice whiff of your hair when you give hugs!” via People Magazine

Salma Hayek’s secrets to staying fit and hotter than ever!

Salma Hayek is undoubtedly one of Hollywood’s hottest women. The 45-year-old actress sizzles as a stripper in her latest movie ‘Americano’, and will be seen next in ‘Savages’. How in the world does she do it? How does she stay in such amazing shape, looking hotter than EVER!?

According to Shape Magazine it’s juicing! The actress has launched a new line called Cooler Cleanse, which is organic, locally sourced, hydraulically pressed juices.

In 2008 the brunette bombshell and juicing devotee approached New York City juicing expert Eric Helms to co-create unique, nutritious, and delicious juice recipes, and voilà—Cooler Cleanse was born.

“It’s a way to share preventative healthcare practices that have worked so well for me over the years—ones that can help everyone look and feel their best,” Hayek tells SHAPE. “I have many years of experience with cleansing, so I felt I had some knowledge to share. Our modern lifestyle brings a lot of stress and toxins into our body, and it’s important to help it eliminate them.”

What started as a labor of love has now become a nationwide delivery service. Starting at $58 per day, the company offers everything from a day-long mini-cleanse to recuperate after a decadent splurge to three- and five-day programs to boost body functioning and increase energy.

“We use a hydraulic press, which produces pulp-free juices with three to five times more vitamins. Our kitchen uses organic produce and nuts, which is very important to me,” Hayek says.

The fiery, flawless female loves indulging in rich foods from time to time, so cleansing is a great way for her to hit the reset button. “I always try to have our fresh juices in my refrigerator,” she says. “I let my body tell me when it’s time to cleanse… the first day is hard, but then it becomes easier and you feel energized.”
