Sofia Vergara’s smoking hot Spanish Vanity Fair cover!

Sofia Vergara, who stars on ABC’s ‘Modern Family’, looks stunning in the new Spanish issue of Vanity Fair.

The 39-year-old actress wore a strapless red suit, while holding a cigarette in her right hand.

I think Sofia always looks stunning in print. Her voice drives me absolutely insane. Everytime I see her live – she gets less and less sexy. I know a lot of you would disagree, many think her accent is cute. It’s just way too whiny for me!

But here – she looks stunning! I love her hair shorter like this!

Anne Hathaway on the Catwoman suit: “It was a psychological terrorist”

Anne Hathaway is Allure Magazine’s July cover girl! The ‘Batman: The Dark Knight Rises’ actress shows her famous dimples, and long brown hair for the cover. (Shortly after this shoot, she buzzed her hair off to play Fatine in ‘Les Miserables’.

In the issue, Anne opens up about both roles, and the physical changes she underwent for them. She opened up about what it took for her to wear the Catwoman suit, how she’s dropping weight for ‘Les Miserables’, and how she’s comfortable getting nude on film. Here’s more!

On wearing the Catwoman suit:

Hathaway says that becoming worthy of the Catwoman suit for the upcoming Batman film, The Dark Knight Rises, permanently changed her relationship with her body. “It was a psychological terrorist,” she says. “The suit, thoughts of my suit, changing my life so I would fit into that suit…. It dominated my year.” She added, “I didn’t understand how you could be thin and strong. I went into the gym for ten months and didn’t come out.”

On being told to undergo plastic surgery:

Despite her obvious star potential early on, Hathaway was constantly subjected to suggestions for remodeling. “Someone wanted to gift me Lasik surgery,” said the near-sighted actress. And she was told to get Botox at 23. “I was like, ‘Can we maybe discuss heavy creams first?’” Not to say that she’s adamantly opposed to any kind of intervention. “But I reserve the right to figure that out until after I’ve pushed out a bunch of babies.”

On getting nude on film:

It was clear early on that Hathaway was both fearless and sophisticated in knowing what she could pull off and what she couldn’t. Nudity? Fine. Even today, as an A-list actress, she’s surprisingly unbothered by it. “I’m as vain as the next girl,” she says, “but I think it’s my job to show people as they live, and nudity is part of life.”

On turning down the lead in ‘Knocked Up’:

At the same time, she’s passed on roles with scenes she just couldn’t wrap her mind around. Example: Hathaway turned down the role Katherine Heigl took in Knocked Up because of an explicit birth scene. “My issue with it was that having not experienced motherhood myself, I didn’t know how I was gonna feel on the other side about giving birth. And by the way,” she adds, laughing, “I could pop a kid out and think, Oh, well, I really should have done that movie.”

On her fiance, Adam Shulman, and having children:

Hathaway is engaged to her boyfriend of three years, Adam Shulman, an actor turned jewelry designer. While family is very much on her mind as her next step, she isn’t sure how many children she’ll have. “But I’ll start with one healthy one,” she says.

On her vegan diet:

She is hoping, too, that she will be able to maintain her vegan regimen. She describes the diet changes as a “transformation.” Not that she doesn’t have her moments: “I mean, cheese is amazing,” she says. “[But] once you’re over the cheese hump, there’s really nothing left.”

On Anne’s friend Kate Lee doing her makeup during the shoot:

When she arrived on the set, Hathaway and her close friend, makeup artist Kate Lee, shown here, jumped up and down and screamed when they saw each other. For the cover shot, Lee created eyes that were “more Liz Taylor than Sophia Loren.” First, she drew a thin black line from the outer edge of the lashes inward. “It’s not your stereotypical ’50s swoop,” Lee said. She swept medium brown powder under Hathaway’s cheekbones and blended a creamy nude luminizer on top. As a final step, Lee used a liner in the same shade as Hathaway’s lips to enhance their shape.

On styling Anne’s hair for the shoot:

Hairstylist Serge Normant (shown below) wanted to give Hathaway a “polished bedroom texture” for the cover. After spritzing on volumizing spray, he blow-dried her hair with a medium-size boar-bristle brush. He blasted a little dry shampoo on the roots to pump them up and smoothed dry oil on the ends for shine.

Emma Stone’s Vogue cover – gorgeous or strange?

I’m somewhere in the middle of gorgeous and strange. Part of me thinks she looks great on the July cover of Vogue, and part of me thinks she looks almost fake? It’s hard to put my finger on it. All I know is that photo below of her in the newsboy hat is by far the worst picture of Emma I’ve EVER seen. Even though these pictures were done by the amazing Mario Testino, I’m not sure I’m in love with this photoshoot.

Here’s more from Vogue:

This summer finds 23-year-old Emma Stone dangling from the rooftops in herblockbuster breakout as Peter Parker’s brainy blonde girlfriend in The Amazing Spider-Man—and gracing her first-ever cover of Vogue.

With photos shot by Mario Testino, Stone cultivates a persona all her own, an innate, antic glamour that’s inspired as much by Diane Keaton’s Annie Hall style as Lanvin and Giambattista Valli. And in July’s profile, Nathan Heller encounters the actress at the cusp of a pivotal transformation in her young career, after earningher reputation as Hollywood’s go-to girl for strong, spunky characters bridging unreconciled worlds, going brunette for Superbad and making her move from comedy to The Help.

“Working with Emma was like diving into a thrilling, twisting river and never holding on to the sides,” says her Spider-Man costar Andrew Garfield. “From the start. To the end. Spontaneous. In the moment. Present. Terrifying. Vital. The only way acting with someone should be.”

In our cover story, Stone recounts what it’s like to see her childhood dreams come true (appearing at the Oscars in February, hosting Saturday Night Live); confesses to a history of panic attacks and how she learned, growing up in Arizona, to channel that anxiety into laughter (“Comedy was my sport”); and reveals how she launched into acting at the age of fourteen (to convince her parents to let her move to L.A. to pursue her dream, she made a PowerPoint presentation). That may have been her first major performance—now, as Spider-Man leaps into theaters, we’ll see her hanging from the precipice, perfectly poised for her next big moment.

I am still having a hard time understanding why we needed another Spider-Man movie. It hasn’t been that long since Tobey Maguire played the super-hero. I love a good Marvel movie, but this one I’m not dying to see. I guess I don’t see the point in making another Spider-Man movie so quick. It’s obviously for money – and money only – and I just hope the movie doesn’t suck as bad as I think it will.

What do you think? Excited to see the new movie?

PIC: Rihanna gets a new tattoo – her 16th!

Rihanna has gotten another tattoo, her 16th! The singer posted a picture of her new ink, a falcon on her ankle, on her Instagram page on Saturday. She wrote ”Falcon: a light that shines in the darkness! Never close their eyes during sleep.”

The tattoo was done by her favorite artist, Bang Bang, in NYC.

“[She decided to get it] the night of, but has been thinking about it for years,” Bang Bang, who adds that this tattoo covers up one of her previous tattoos, making it No. 16, tells Us Weekly. “It’s the first tattoo she wanted as a teen. She wanted it across her back back then.”

The Manhattan-based tattoo artist adds that the 24-year-old “Where Have You Been” singer always knows the next step in her body art lineup. “We always do that part together,” Bang Bang tells Us. “We must have gone over hundreds of tattoo ideas together over the years.”

The Barbados beauty’s decision for new ink comes almost 48 hours after her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown and Drake, along with their posses, got into a serious brawl at a Manhattan nightclub early Thursday morning.

Rihanna “got text messages from everybody telling her what happened right after it went down,” a source explained to Us. “She just laughed. She’s spoken to both of them and just thinks it’s crazy. She’s glad she wasn’t there though!”

Meanwhile an observer tells Us of the scuffle, “Chris and Drake never got in each other’s faces. “It was entourage versus entourage, never Drake versus Chris.” (Eva Longoria’s ex-husband, Tony Parker, who was partying with Brown that night, suffered a scratched retina from the brawl.)
