Zooey Deschannel’s new Rimmel London Ad

The adorable Zooey Deschanel looks gorgeous in the latest ad for the new Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick. The lipstick comes with an improved formula and new, deluxe packaging!

“Fun, pretty and hip.” This is how charismatic Zooey Deschanel describes “the London look”. Gorgeous Zooey Deschanel was named brand ambassador of Rimmel London in March last year. Now, the famous British beauty company has released the new Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick ad with the beautiful singer/actress looking absolutely adorable, girlish, yet very seductive wearing the Heart Breaker shade.

The “(500) Days of Summer” star was considered as being the perfect image for the label. “We wanted to add an American voice. We have an American beauty with London confidence,” said Rick Goldberg, vice president of marketing for Rimmel London.

Zooey Deschanel, who is the face of a new lash accelerating mascara, a perfecting powder foundation and of the lasting lipstick, said that, “I love makeup. I’ve been wearing different beauty products for years. I shop everywhere and I love the fact you can get such great looks at a reasonable price. I want to be associated with products that are accessible for everyone.”

I love Zooey, and I think she’s the perfect ambassador for the brand!

Jennifer Aniston cut her hair to avoid the ‘Real Housewives’ look

Jennifer Aniston’s longtime hairdresser Chris McMillian tells Allure.com why he decided to cut Jen’s famous long hair into a short sassy bob. Hint: He doesn’t want his client looking like the ladies of ‘The Real Housewives’ – any of them.

“I’m loving bobs again. I love the girl in the YSL ads. It’s a sexy look. The reason that I’m loving a bob at the moment… There are so many long, layered hairstyles and-don’t get me wrong, I love that. But The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills all have that. You know what I mean? And what’s the opposite direction you can go in?” McMillan said.

“It’s nice to take the extensions out of the hair and do something more natural. It’s gotten out of hand. But I can’t stop watching it.”

McMillan calls Jen’s new do a hairline bob, because it follows the jaw down.

“It’s shortened in back and longer in front. It’s angled and inspired by Vidal Sassoon haircuts and Julie Christie from ‘Shampoo’,” he told Allure.

“It was just time for a change. We had a blast doing it. And we’ve always liked this haircut. It’s about keeping things simple. The way Celine and Calvin Klein and Jil Sander and all these clothing lines are keeping it really simple and chic. I really feel that fashion right now. All the styles are back to when I first started doing hair. And I love it.”

I know a lot of people say her new cut makes her look older, but I love it. I think she looks great!

Check out a teaser for Keira Knightley’s new Chanel commercial!

Keira Knightley gets ready to promote Chanel in the video teaser for the Coco Mademoiselle fragrance.

Dressed in a nude catsuit and helmet, the 25-year-old actress climbs onto a Ducati in the fragrance’s latest ad.

Knightley teamed up with her ‘Pride & Prejudice’ director, Joe Wright, last September for the short film that will debut March 21.

“Nobody said exactly what it was going to be like,” she says in a voice-over in the video teaser. “I knew that it was something about a motorbike, and I knew that it was going to be beige. They said, ‘Sort of catsuit,’ and I said, ‘OK.’ It was completely unexpected. It’s a Chanel superwoman, I think.”

Emma Watson is the new face of Lancome!

In a press announcement released today, the French beauty house stated:

Emma follows in the footsteps of other renowned actresses, such as Julia Roberts, Penelope Cruz, Kate Winslet and Anne Hathaway, who have also starred in campaigns for the brand.

Kate Winslet has always been outspoken in her distaste for plastic surgery and airbrushing, but it seems the voluptuous Brit import has finally surrendered to the feature-altering clicks of a full Photoshop job in a new Lancôme ad.

In a campaign for new Lancôme lipstick collection L’Absolu Nu, the 35-year-old lies nude against champagne satin sheets, her face an image of poreless perfection, and her assets hidden by a strategically placed wrist and the iconic imprint of the Lancôme rose.

Shot by prominent fashion photographer Mario Testino, the campaign also features the Oscar winner draped in sheets, talking to a special someone on the phone — all while applying her mother-of-pearl-flecked lipstick to pillow-soft lips.

Winslet says the lipstick is genuinely her latest obsession.

“I do think that lipstick is the best friend of absolute femininity … and I also think there’s something happening right now in the cosmetic industry, which is that we’re seeing the big comeback of a great lipstick. L’Absolu Nu is a soft, delicious stain. It’s very, very sexy … very, very subtle,” said the silver-screen star.

Katy Perry lands another beauty contract!

Katy Perry is already the face of Proactiv skincare, and the legs of Schick Quattro. Now she can add her hair to the mix!

She’s just signed on to be the face (or hair) of U.K. based hairstyling and appliance brand ghd.

“Sassy, stylish and sexy, Katy is the perfect partner for ghd,” the brand’s CEO, Paul Stoneham, said today.

Within the next month, the singer, 26, will start appearing in print and television ads for ghd, shot by famed photographer David LaChapelle, and the brand will act as the international tour sponsor for Perry’s “California Dreams 2011″ tour that kicked off in Europe last month.

“I’m very excited to reveal the styles I did with legendary David LaChapelle in the upcoming ghd campaign. Keep your eyes peeled for it!” shares Perry in regards to the announcement.
