Last Sunday we were all excited to hear we would see snow.  In Portland we maybe get a day or two of snow a year and it usually all gets rained away within 24hrs. Well we are now on are 8th day of snow and about 13 inches on the ground in the metro area. While that would be nothing to a lot of people it grinds our city to a halt. I don’t think we have all ever wished for rain like we are now.

Even some of the stores are closed don’t they know all of us procrastinators still have Christmas shopping to do? So I am getting to the point of turning our tennis rackets into snow shoes or hand making gifts. For the sake of my loved ones I think I will go with the tennis racket snow shoe idea.
