Jennifer Lawrence’s $4.50 beauty secret!

Jennifer Lawrence is one busy girl! She’s got her calender full of awards ceremonies, thanks to her amazing performance in ‘Silver Linings Playbook.’ She’s taken home nearly every Best Actress award so far – only ceremony left is the Oscars, you know… no big deal.

So how does Jennifer keep her figure so slim during all of her public appearances? She’s resorted to an old fashioned trick – Epsom Salts!

Epsom Salts, or magnesium sulphate, is a traditional remedy for constipation that , when added to bath water, is said to helps reduce bloating by drawing water out of the stomach and into the gut.

The actress first began using the time-honoured remedy after a recommendation from her friend and personal trainer, Dalton Wong.

Wong said: ‘Epsom Salts help to get rid of any bloating in the body before slipping into a red carpet dress.

‘It’s a great trick that anyone can use if they’re working up to wearing a particularly clingy dress.’

And Jennifer is not the only celeb Epsom Salts fan.

Gwyneth Paltrow recently revealed that an Epsom Salts bath is her favorite way to ensure she looks radiant.

Luckily for Jennifer and Gwyneth, Epsom Salts, unlike the majority of supplements, don’t involve pill popping or having to force something nasty down your throat.

According to Epsom Salts brand, Care, all you have to do to make the most of their £2.89 salts is add them to your bath and relax for 15 minutes before taking a quick shower to wash it all off.

What’s more, says GP Dr Sarah Jarvis, the salts can also help remove toxins from the muscles, relax and reduce muscle soreness due to the effect on the body’s serotonin levels.

From the sounds of it, I need like 5 Epsom Salts baths a day! It sounds amazing! I remember my mom doing it when I was younger, and now I know why! Time to hit up the grocery store!

I love it when I read articles like these, when celebrities – who have access to absolutely anything they want – still use cheap, tried and true affordable products!

Burt’s Bees Coconut Foot Creme is heavenly!

Who doesn’t love Burt’s Bees??? Man, I love so many (if not all) of their products. A couple of weeks ago I got my hands on the Tips & Toes Kit below, and I totally fell in love with it. It has EVERYTHING you need to keep your lips, fingers and toes totally healthy this winter! One of my favorite products included is the Coconut Foot Creme. It smells heavenly, and feels even better!

Go nuts for incredibly soft feet.

How it Works

This pampering natural foot cream combines coconut oil, lanolin and vegetable glycerin to revive and rejuvenate even the driest, most neglected feet. There’s also a hint of natural rosemary and peppermint oils to refresh tired feet.

How to Use It

Apply liberally and allow the cream to fully absorb. For a luxurious way to treat your feet, soak feet in warm water for 10-15 minutes and rub gently with a pumice stone. Massage Coconut Foot Creme into feet, paying close attention to heels and calloused skin. Then cover your feet with cotton socks overnight to soothe and seal in moisture.

Featured Ingredient

Coconut Oil — The flesh of the coconut is rich in emollient fat and, when pressed, yields a white, sweetly-scented, super-moisturizing oil, which is a solid at room temperature but easily melts on the skin.

This amazing product can be bought on it’s own – or part of the awesome Tips & Toes Kit. This amazing collection of rich creams and softening butters will do the trick. Seriously softening and happily hydrating. Your fingers and toes will thank you.

‘Shahs of Sunset’ Star “MJ” Bares All in a Bathing Suit, Says “I Don’t Want To Be Skinny!”

Viewers have blasted Mercedes “MJ” Javid for flaunting her curves, but the Shahs of Sunset star isn’t interested in slimming down.

The real estate agent, who varies from a size 8 to 10, exclusively tells the magazine, “I am not ashamed of my body.”

“Skinny is not appealing to me,” MJ admits. “If I were to admire another woman’s body type, it would probably be someone who is very curvaceous and slender in the right places. I think men tend to like it better.” So which celebrity does MJ think has the ideal physique? “Sofia Vergara!”

While the Shahs star tries to eat right and get to the gym for 40-minute cardio sessions as often as possible, MJ refuses to go to extremes when it comes to her diet.

“When I first moved to LA, I went to an internist who told me I was really overweight, and he actually prescribed diet pills,” she tells In Touch. “I went to school and was shaking and having a hard time concentrating in class. I lost weight, [but] it was definitely not a healthy way to do it.”

At the end of the day, MJ admits to having “a love-hate relationship” with her body, something she’s come to accept.

“I am not striving to be thin,” she admits. “The only person that I really want to please is myself.”

OMG I have a love-hate relationship with this show. Okay, I really love it.
