New Summer’s Eve ads – what were they thinking!?

While browsing through Huffington Post a couple minutes ago I stumbled upon these videos. The title was “Summer’s Eve Campaign: Racist or Harmless?’

I had to watch. And while I don’t know if I think they’re racist, I certainly think they are very strange. You have to watch all three… trust me.

The White Version:

What do you think – offensive or just stupid? Or better yet…. do you love them?

Soothe your sandal-weary feet!

Kick foot odor to the curb. According to N.Y.C. dermatologist Hilary Reich, washing feet daily with an antibacterial soap will fend off most odor-causing microbes. But refreshing with a spritz of The Body Shop Peppermint Cooling Foot Spray ($10, thebodyshop-usa.com) will deodorize and put pep in your step—literally. (Swapping your sandals every other day will also give odors time to dissipate.)

Having tired, blistered toes is no walk on the beach. Slip off your sandals and give your feet some rest and relaxation with a ten minute soak. “After soaking, remove dead skin by scrubbing vigorously with a pumice stone,” says New York dermatologist Dr. Jeannette Graf, who recommends Epsom salt soaps to her patients. We like the Crabtree & Evelyn La Source Sea Foam Foot Soak ($15; crabtree-evelyn.com), which is infused with skin-soothing seaweed and algae extract.

Open-toed sandals are perfect for the summer, but that also means your feet get more exposure to the elements. “Put on a hydrating lotion to lock in moisture after removing dead skin,” advises Jennifer Lynn, spa director at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Las Vegas. Butter London Powder Finish Foot Creme ($28; butterlondon.com) hydrates feet with shea and coco butter, but doesn’t leave a too-slick finish.

Penelope Cruz reveals her post-baby body secret!

Penelope Cruz looked absolutely stunning in her Givenchy dress at the UK premiere of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ yesterday.

What’s her secret to getting back into shape after having a baby? After welcoming her son in January, Penelope turned to dancing in order to lose the baby weight.

“I love ballet and it’s a little boring for me to go to the gym because I’m used to the dancing discipline — it’s really hard but much more fun,” the actress, who showed off her dancing skills in Nine, tells the Daily Mirror.

The Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides star, 37, also credits Spanish cooking with helping to shed post-pregnancy pounds after the birth of her boy, reportedly named Leo.

“I love Spanish food. My diet is the Mediterranean diet, which is good food. I eat well, but I try to eat healthy.”

However, that doesn’t mean the new mom denies herself a treat every now and then. She has previously admitted to grabbing food from In-N-Out every once in awhile, including before heading to the red carpet.

“I do it, like, once a week or once every two weeks. It’s my little treat for myself. I love the Double-Double with fries.”

Hot Chocolate Bath?

Are you a chocoholic? This may be the product for you! Cadbury is about to launch a new range of bath products which will smell like three new flavors of it’s Dairy Milk bar.

The confectionary giant has joined forces with cosmetic company Anatomicals to create a truffle bath creme, toffee body butter and a hazelnut exfoliating wash.

But sweet-toothed fans of the brown stuff won’t be able to pick this chocolate treat up from any old corner shop. The limited edition products will only be available from John Lewis and online fashion store asos.com.

Cadbury’s Bliss bars launched in September last year, while the range of good-enough-to-eat bath products will be available to buy in June.

This is the first time Cadbury has dipped its toe into this new market, which it hopes will attract young females and support what they call the ‘luxury theme’ of the Bliss brand.

I don’t know about this one. I’ve never smelled a chocolate beauty product that smelled good to me. I don’t think I’d want my body to smell like chocolate. I’d have to try this and see what I think. Feel free to send me a sample. :)

Anti-Aging prep should begin in your 20′s!

Dr. Leonard Tachmes (Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who recently opened his own practice: Miami Beach Plastic Surgery Center & MedSpa) believes that anti-aging tips should be started in your 20’s for preventative measures and to create an anti-aging regimen. “When clients approach their 30’s, they really start to notice early signs of aging from small wrinkles to brown spots on their hands – one of the true age-tellers found on the body. It is never too soon to take measure to protect the skin and to preserve a youthful appearance.”

“With over 17 years of experience, I find that most of my clients are unaware of how sensitive the skin is on their hands – - the most exposed part of their body!”

Dr. Tachmes’ non-treatment anti-aging tips include:

1. Wear driving gloves – throughout the year, as early as your 20s…today’s suntan leads to tomorrow’s fine lines, wrinkles and age spots as cracked skin and small wrinkles are a result of exposure to cold weather elements

2. Wear cleaning gloves – penetrating your hands in extremely hot water containing bleaches, degreasers, soaps and anti-bacterial agents have chemicals that dry out the skin – try applying a nice balm to the hands before you clean in case water seeps inside and…the heat from the water can also be beneficial to penetration of product

3. Exfoliate your hands every week with an enriched, oil-based scrub once a week to allow even penetration of moisturizers

4. Apply SPF 30 (or higher) onto your hands just as you would to your face – everyday

5. Apply tint to car windows – even in the winter months, the sun’s rays still have UV rays that are equally damaging

6. Eliminate the practice of chewing cuticles (can cause loose, torn skin that will eventually crack) and cracking knuckles (can cause enlarged knuckles and increased wrinkles) when under pressure – find a non-aging solution that will not affect your skin’s appearance

Do you worry about your hands? I’m 33, and only thing I do regularly is moisturize. Maybe I need to step it up a bit!
