Lancôme Ambassadress Kate Winslet had Avon Global Creative Color Director Jillian Dempsey create her beautiful look for the Golden Globes. Fab Over Forty has the details on products used for her look at the awards. Jillian Dempsey said “Kate Winslet’s look was shimmering, soft and sophisticated.”

Jillian used taupe and champagne shades on Kate’s eyes and lots of rich mascara for extra definition. A pop of rose blush on her cheeks gave Kate a youthful natural-looking flush. Jill topped it off with a creamy rose lip color for a fresh finish.

Water for Elephants, the compelling love story that hit the big screen in April, is now available on DVD and Blue-ray. To celebrate the November release, Avon teamed up with Celebrity Makeup Artist, Robin Fredrikz, who worked on Reese Witherspoon’s look for the lead role of Marlena. Using Avon favorites, Fredrikz recreated the timeless day and night time looks as seen in the film.

For both looks, Frederikz accentuated the eyes using shadows in warm and romantic hues, then lined eyes with black liner, and finished with multiple coats of lush black mascara to give the appearance of false lashes, as this was a key part of the look for Reese’s character. The daytime look was given a natural peachy lip whereas the night time lip was finished with a red gloss.
