Amanda Seyfried’s stunning new Vanity Fair photo shoot!

Amanda Seyfried appears in the December issue of Vanity Fair, and what a gorgeous photoshoot it is! Amanda is promoting her two new movies, ‘Les Miserables’ and ‘Lovelace’. In the photo shoot, which I’ve included, the beautiful actress poses in outfits by DiorElie Saab and Valentino.

There was a short interview that went along with the pictures. Here are some excerpts:

On shooting Mean Girls: “Back then I thought every movie that was made found an audience and things were all stars and butterflies,” she sighs, “before I developed a relationship with this world.”

On working with Hugh Jackman in Les Mis: “There is nothing bad to say about Hugh. He isn’t human. I bet you anything he’s got some kind of superhuman capabilities, beyond just being just the kindest, gentlest soul I’ve come across.” Plus, she says, he has a wildly inappropriate sense of humour, which she shares. Together they invented alternative story lines that transformed their characters’ tender relationship into something altogether less innocent, like the old Renault “Papa!” and “Nicole!” ads gone wild. “We sexualized everything as much as we could. It was really funny, the moments we could find . . . It’s like every movie has another version, another satirical version of itself.”

On the challenges of Lovelace: “We were doing a scene where I was supposed to be going down on Peter Sarsgaard. We used a popsicle, and I had my arms covering the popsicle. It was footage that he was going to show the Deep Throatguy, to get her into the movie, to get her cast. I was laughing hysterically throughout. I couldn’t stop laughing.”

I’m excited – MORE than excited – to see ‘Les Miserables’. Unfortunately I’m not terribly excited to see ‘Lovelace’, I just have a bad feeling about it (but I sincerely hope I’m wrong). Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Lindsay Lohan was their first pick – and then they went with Amanda? When Lindsay’s your first choice, you know you’re in trouble.

Check out all the beautiful pictures below! Gorgeous!!

Amanda Seyfried stuns on the Vanity Fair UK December 2012 cover.

Amanda Seyfried looks gorgeous in the new photos from the December 2012 Vanity Fair UK issue. I am so excited to see Amanda in Les Miserables!

Amanda Seyfried spends HOW MUCH on moisturizer!?

I don’t know why, but I’m always interested in what celebrities use on their faces (honestly and truly, not just what they’re PAID to say they use – I’m talking to you, Fergie) and how much it costs to buy it.

While some celebrities insist on cheaper skincare routines (like Emma Stone’s $5 beauty tip), there are some celebrities who shell out thousands of dollars per month (ahem Jennifer Aniston) to keep their money-makers looking perfect.

Rumor has it Amanda Seyfried drops quite a chunk of change on her own beauty products. The actress has been shilling Cle de Peau’s beauty products for years, and now we’re getting an idea of what it costs her to keep up this expensive habit.

The Japanese skincare company is about to release a moisturizer “La Creme” that will cost $13,000. The crystal-encrusted 50 gram jar will be available at Barney’s. $13,000 too much? Well, you can buy a cheaper version that will set you back $775.

The premium version is believed to be the most expensive beauty cream in the world, which probably explains why Cle de Peau is only producing 3 jars of the pricey moisturizer to coincide with the product line’s 30th anniversary. The brand will be taking orders from their Tokyo headquarters starting August 30, but we’re guessing you wont be able to sample this one at Barneys before you commit.

So here’s the question…. if you had plenty of money to spend…. would you drop $775 on moisturizer?

Amanda Seyfried Glamour’s March 2012 Cover Girl.

Amanda covers Glamour’s March 2012 issue in a floral top by Pierre Balmain, blue jeans by Hudson, and Candy Ice jewelry. Photography by Ellen Von Unwerth:

For the March issue, Amanda Seyfried sat down with writer Jada Yuan to talk about everything from making movies to making babies, and of course, a little chat about boys.

On whether Dominic Cooper was the last guy she loved:
“My God, yeah. He was my last real boyfriend. We still joke about having kids, like, ‘If it doesn’t work out with other people, we might as well just have a child.’ And there’s a part of that that feels … possible.”

Glamour: Have you been thinking at all about kids?

Amanda: Oh yeah, I think about kids all the time. I feel like the next person I commit to, that’s going to be the guy who I’m going to have kids with. That’s in my crazy female brain. So that’s why I’m like, “I can’t commit.”

Glamour: [After you broke up with Dom] You were mostly dating noncelebs. Was that hard?

Amanda: You learn very quickly what people are so enamored with, and it’s not necessarily me.

Glamour: It’s just the fame?

Amanda: I think it’s all the bullshit of the idea of someone who’s famous, which seems more exotic than the fact. You have to be careful whom you date, but I had a great time this summer.

Glamour: Are you going through the, how shall I say, “twenties slut” phase? [Laughs.]

Amanda: No! I’m terrified of being promiscuous. I don’t like the feeling you get when it’s not something that you truly want to do, and I hate the emotional abuse you give yourself afterward. It’s just uncomfortable when you’re with somebody and you’re like, “I don’t really know if I’m even comfortable with this. Why did I? Eww!” I think dating can come without sex.

Glamour: You are blowing some minds right now.

Amanda: I think that’s a really fun way to do it. Right now I’m happy to not have someone’s naked body around me. Except for my dog’s. [Laughs.]

Glamour: You have said you would never date your In Time costar Justin Timberlake. Why’s that?

Amanda: Oh, I think any female that meets him at first is like, “I want to date you.” He seems so perfect, but you get to know him, and he’s a good pal. He’ll tell you what he really feels. But, you know, he’s really famous, which has its downsides.

On if she feels competitive with other young actresses:
“Yeah, sometimes. But the funny thing is, the girls that I’m always up against for roles are pretty nice and cool, like Emma Watson. She’s awesome. She’s really funny and smart. And Carey Mulligan. It’s flattering to be up against her because she’s really good, and she’s cool too…I think the era of the diva actress is coming to an end.”

On watching Linda Lovelace’s Deep Throat:
“What surprised me is the amount of pubic hair! I’m pretty sure I would never do a full frontal in a movie – for personal reasons, I wouldn’t really want to show that.”
