Allison William Golden Globes St Tropez Beauty

WHO: Allison Williams

WHERE: Golden Globe Awards

SKIN AND MAKEUP BY: Gianpaolo Ceciliato

INSPIRATION: “Old Hollywood Glamour with a Rock and Roll Edge. We achieved this look with a glowing complexion, bold smoky eye and nude lip.”

TIPS/TECHNIQUE: “For an instant, evenly bronzed glow, I swept St. Tropez One Night Only Instant Glow Body Lotion onto exposed skin using the Applicator Mitt to create luminous, dewy skin that just reflects the flashing lights of the camera. It dries in seconds and is waterproof and transfer resistant so we did not have to worry about Allison’s dress. For a smoky eye effect, I rimmed the entire eye very close to lash line with black pencil and covered the lid with Armani Eye Tint #1 (black) and #7 (gunmetal) to create shimmery dimension. I chose a beige lipstick with subtle shine to complete Allison’s look. The hue added enough color to her lips without competing with her bold red gown.”

Allison Williams stuns on the new cover of Glamour Magazine

Who’s excited for season 4 of ‘Girls’!? I am VERY excited, to say the least! I hope this year is more…. funny…. but I’ll watch it anyway.

‘Girls’ actress Allison Williams landed the February 2015 cover of Glamour Magazine, and she’s never looked better! The 26-year-old opens up about her upcoming wedding to fiance and College Humor co-founder Ricky Van Veen (the two have been engaged since February 2014).

Allison told Glamour that she’s planning ahead for her future.

“I have a lot of questions: How do I get to a place in my career where I can go be a mom for a little while, and then come back and be a mom and an actress at the same time?” the 26-year-old TV star wonders.

Who gives her advice? “Every time I find a woman in film, an actress who has kids, I, like a sociopath, corner her and ask, ‘How did it work?’ Everyone says, ‘Don’t think so much.’ [Jemima Kirke], from Girls, is always saying, ‘Just get pregnant! Just have a baby.’ And I’m like, ‘You are so much cooler than I am.’ I love what I do, but I have no doubt that when I start my family, that’s life. This is my job, but that’s life.”

For now, Williams focused on playing Marnie on HBO’s Girls, which returns for its fourth season Sunday. She’ll star in the series for “as long as they’ll have me,” she says. “I would never ever get sick of playing her, because there is no sense of ‘Oh, I’ve done that already.’ It’s all new—new scenarios, new feelings.”

Williams has guest-starred on FOX’s The Mindy Project and played the titular role in NBC’s Peter Pan Live!, but she has yet to appear in a movie. Of course, that’s also on her to-do list. “The number of scripts that take my breath away are few and far between,” she explains to Glamour. “There are some that are gorgeous, but I want to play all the male roles in them. I always ask, and I’m always told no.”

Finding the right roles—on TV, on film and on stage—is important to the relative newcomer. “I have vague EGOT goals. Who doesn’t?” she asks. “I have zero of those so far, so I have a lot of work to do.”

Focusing on achieving her career goals has helped Williams to ignore her hater, whose criticisms aren’t limited to her acting abilities. What’s her biggest gripe? “Being analyzed about my weight drives me crazy. It’s easier to say, ‘Oh, she must be anorexic and depriving herself,’ than it is to say, ‘She might have a fast metabolism,'” she says. “I deprive myself nothing. But that’s an annoying thing to say, right?”

Emmys: Inside Allison Williams Clutch

66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards - Arrivals

Celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff was behind the scenes with Allison Williams getting the Girls star and Emmy presenter red carpet ready for the awards show. Below is a breakdown of Allison’s beauty look along with a sneak peek inside her clutch – which included: tarte not so slick oil-absorbing blotting papers, tarte LipSurgence™ matte lip tint in lucky, and tarte Amazonian butter lipstick in golden pink.

“Allison had just returned from her summer vacation so her skin was sun-kissed,” said Pati Dubroff, celebrity makeup artist. “We decided to go with a soft look. I dubbed this ‘pretty in pink with a flash’ – the pink is on the lid, the cheek and the lip, while the flash is a dash of bright yellow gold on the inner corner of her eyes which complimented the bright yellow grosgrain belt on her dress.”

Pati prepped the skin with tarte clean slate timeless smoothing primer in the t-zone to eliminate the need for powder. She then used a very small amount of tarte Amazonian clay 12-hour full coverage foundation SPF 15 in light medium honey. “I wanted the sheer coverage so Allison’s freckles could show through,” said Pati. Pati finished the skin using tarte park avenue princess bronzer to amp up the tan and tarte Amazonian clay 12-hour blush in fearless on the apples of the cheeks for a pinky flush.

The brows were defined with tarte the brow architect™ brow shaper, liner and definer in medium-tan.

“I created the structured eyes with Pati Dubroff dream palette using ochre and raw to give matte structure and a soft tone in the crease and under the eye,” said Pati. She then applied tarte smolderEYES™ Amazonian clay waterproof liner in golden beige in the center of the lid for a peachy pink base followed by Chanel Illusion D’ombre in Abstraction on top. On the inner corner of the eyes, Pati added a flash of NARS Soft Touch Shadow Pencil in Corcovado for a flash of bright yellow. At the base of the lash line Pati used tarte lights, camera, lashes™ precision longwear liquid eyeliner – with a touch of a light flick at the outer corner. She completed Allison’s eyes by well coating the lashes in tarte lights, camera, lashes™ 4-in-1 mascara.

Pati created a soft but well-structured lip using tarte LipSurgence™ matte lip tint in lucky with a touch of tarte Amazonian butter lipstick in golden pink layered on top.

Allison’s Gambattista Valli Couture sleeveless dress meant her body was on display. “It’s just as important to make sure that the skin on her body looks as just as flawless as the skin on her face,” said Pati. “I used Jergens BB Body Skin Perfecting Cream in Medium to give a subtle radiant sheen and illuminate Allison’s skin.”

The gorgeous Allison Williams featured in this month’s Glamour Magazine!

Allison Williams is featured in the March issue of Glamour Magazine, and the ‘Girls’ actress looks gorgeous! I think she is drop-dead-beautiful, but not everyone will agree with me. I find her mesmerizing on ‘Girls,’ she’s just sooooooo pretty. I find her character Marnie a bit annoying, but aren’t ALL the characters on Girls annoying? I have said since the beginning that Adam is my favorite character on Girls – I can almost do without the rest of them. I’m secretly hoping Shoshanna gets killed off this season. Man, I cannot STAND her character!

Anyway, in the interview that goes with these gorgeous pics, Allison opens up about wanting a family of her own, and how she would throw away her acting career in a second for a chance at having babies. I can respect that. I don’t really believe her, but I respect it if it’s true. I don’t think she’s done enough acting to feel like she’s able to move on and start a family. I know I don’t KNOW her personally, but what else has she done besides Girls? Not much. I think she has many years of acting to come before she gives it up to be a stay-at-home-mom.

Career vs. motherhood: “My goal is to create a career I can walk away from and become a mom. I’d love to be a mom – and not have to bring my kids into my trailer. That’s my long-term thinking. You gotta call it on the fly to a certain extent.”

She just wants to act, not be “famous”: “If you go into acting for love of the craft, and you dodge the fame aspect, it’s more sustainable.”

Her personal style: “In college I wore a lot of layers, jewelry, and makeup. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve gotten more control of the simple. A typical look is pants and a blazer, or a dress. On the red carpet, it has to be comfortable.”

Lena Dunham vs. Tina Fey: “[Tina] is humble and efficient. That exact combination was everything to me. Tina knows everyone’s name. It’s funny, [Girls creator and star] Lena Dunham is the same way. It’s hard to misbehave when your boss is so gracious.”

On GIRLS: “I root for Hannah and Marnie more than I do for Hannah and Adam. Marnie needs a close female friend. Who doesn’t? I’d be nowhere without my girlfriends.”

What she looks for in a friend: “I think the qualities I look for are loyalty, honesty and I think empathy is huge, because as a girl I am entitled to say often we think we want honesty but we want is for someone to say ”No, no you look great.’”
