Review: Infiniti Pro by Conair Curl Secret

infiniti-pro-by-conair-curl-secret-automatic-curler-d-20130716091049757~280950 (1)

I was recently sent a Conair Curl Secret to try out for a few days and see what I thought. For this experiment I made my daughter the guinea pig and tried it out on her. This tool is completely different from anything I have ever tried so I read and reread the directions then gave it a whirl.

The unit itself was easy to operate and it was easy and painless to curl her hair. My daughter has very thick hair so it did take a bit of time to get it all curled. I think this is a great new tool but it will definitely work best for people with thinner hair.

The Pros: I like how the unit had a fail safe so you couldn’t rip your hair out. The unit itself is easy to hold an maneuver to create your curls. The unit has a time that beeps so no guessing how long to hold your hair in.

The Cons: This wasn’t anywhere near as fast as I hoped. You have to keep the sections pretty small so if you have a lot of hair it can take quite a bit of time.

A fun new option for curling your hair. If you are tired of curling irons and want something new check it out.

Review: Kiehl’s Super Multi Corrective Cream

0f848d0981a7f0e2_multi-corrective

I was so excited to try the new Kiehl’s Super Multi-Corrective Cream, my face has been a bit blah and needed some loving. The cream is downright decadent its so thick and creamy you just need a bit to cover your face and neck.

The cream still manages to feel really lightweight on my skin and absorbs right away. Within the first day my skin felt so much better it was hydrated and felt so smooth. Now 3 weeks in and my skin is looking better and better. I am really impressed with how it has tightened the skin around my jawline and on my neck and there is a noticeable difference in the crinkles (yes crinkles, sounds better) around my eyes. Another really great product from Kiehl’s.
