Get The Look: Claire Danes Old Hollywood Glamour at the 64th Annual Emmy’s

Claire Danes at the 64th Primetime Emmys
Look by: Matin Maulawizada, Global Artistry Director for Laura Mercier

Matin describes his inspiration for Claire’s look as a “casual nod to old Hollywood glamour.”

EYES: Claire’s smoky, seductive eyes were the focal point of the look.

· Matin used Laura Mercier Eye Pencil in Extreme Black ($20) to define Claire’s eyes.

· He then heavily lined her eyes using Laura Mercier Kohl Eye Pencil in Black Gold ($20). The pencil’s golden base colour complemented the star’s electric yellow dress.

· Matin completed the dramatic look by applying Laura Mercier Metallic Crème Eye Colour in Burnished Copper ($22) and Laura Mercier Sequin Eye Colour in Black Ice ($22) to Claire’s lids.

LIPS: Nude lips modernized the glamorous look.

· Matin layered Laura Mercier Lip Pencil in Praline ($20) and Laura Mercier Crème Smooth Lip Colour in Angelic ($26) to achieve Claire’s soft, matte lip colour.

FACE: Matin chose to enhance the expecting star’s natural glow and created a “healthy flush using bright pink blush.”

· To achieve a flawless face, Matin first applied Laura Mercier Moisture Suprême Foundation in Sunny Beige ($43).

· He then covered imperfections using Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage in SC-3 ($30).

· Laura Mercier Crème Cheek Colour in Oleander ($22) was then heavily applied to Claire’s cheeks.

· The look was set with Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder in Translucent ($34).

New from L’OCCITANE!

A beautiful rose scent, that will have you hooked! The newest line from L’OCCITANE, Rose des Champs  is fresh, delicate,  fruity and spring-like. I can’t stop breathing it in, truly a great scent.

L’OCCITANE Rose des Champs  A rose with a slightly rebellious nature reigns over the fields of Provence, carrying an air of freedom. Like these wild and fragrant fields, the new Rose des Champs collection captures the heady sensation of freedom in a floral, pastoral and colorful scent. All of the products in this collection contain a wild rose extract from Provence and fragrance absolutes of small meadow flowers.

The collection includes; Eau de Toilette ($45), Solid Perfume Charm ($12), Silky Body Gel ($25) and Pearl Hand Cream ($10).

I adore the new Bonne Mere scent! I had the chance to try the Gentle Body Wash and the milk and honey scent is downright intoxicating. My kids might be getting a few more baths than usual just so I can inhale the sweet scent on them at story time. I also like to add a little to my bath it makes the bathroom smell great and leave my skin smelling fantastic.

L’OCCITANE Bonne Mere : In Provence, Oh Bonne Mere! is often used in speech to express surprise, relief, joy, a stroke of good luck or, most importantly, kindness. The products in this vintage-inspired collection feature creamy textures and hypoallergenic formulas. Bon Mere’s gentle Body Washes, Hand Washes, Creams and Soaps are perfect for grown-ups and children with even the most sensitive skin.

Each piece in the collection is available in a milk and honey scent, and includes; Gentle Body Wash ($34), Creamy Hand Wash ($20), Gentle Cream ($22) and Soaps ($7).
