Congratulation to Lyza Jo! You are the contest winner, please watch your email inbox.
Jocelyn and I have been friends for 29 years now and part of that long term friendship is sharing our goals with each other. We both sat down to pick our top two resolutions for 2015 and wanted to share them with you. Walgreens gave us some fantastic products to help us achieve our goals and even better they are letting us give one of our lucky readers and AMAZING prize package. So keep on reading to see what is on our resolution list this year and make sure to enter the contest!
Erin’s New Year’s Resolutions:
#1 Drink more water.
I think health in general is dependent on getting enough water something I have been lacking. So I have the Contigo Autoseal Grace Water Bottle to help me with this goal. This BPA-free water bottle features a one-touch AUTOSEAL lid that automatically seals between sips to eliminate spills and leaks. Since I started using it I have already doubled my water intake!
#2 Move More.
I like working out but I can be prone to a hard workout in the morning then getting locked into my desk all day. I am excited to be trying out the Walgreens Activity Tracker which is way better that your momma’s old pedometer. This cool little bracelet tracks my steps, calories burned, miles per day and also tracks my sleep. On top of all those nifty features it also shows my texts and phone call so I can keep in the loop even when racking up the miles. My kids loving checking to see how many steps I have gone and its a great reminder to get up and move.
Jocelyn’s New Year’s Resolutions:
# 1 READ MORE!
This has been on my Resolution list for years, and this year I’m finally doing something about it! Erin and I started a book club we call “My Book Club Has a Wine Problem.” We decided it was high time we start reading more – and this year I plan to read, READ, READ! We’ve knocked out a couple books already, and I’m currently tackling the 500-page “Marie Antionette: The Journey” by Antionia Fraser. I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year holds for me!
#2 SLOW DOWN
This is a huge problem of mine. My day-to-day life is currently 70 MPH. I need to take a step back, and slow the heck down. I fill my days with so many activities and unnecessary things that I’m not taking the time to slow down and enjoy my life. Enjoy my husband, enjoy my kids. My boys are 12 and 14 and life is happening way to quickly. They will be gone before I know it! I need to really try and tone down my activity level this year and spend some time really focusing on the things that are really important. I think as adults we all get so swept up in our day-to-day lives that we really forget to slow down and enjoy what we actually have. With my kids getting older, I need to grasp onto as much as I can – while I still am able! Soon they won’t want me interfering with anything (but I’ll still try!).
