Laura Mercier Bonne Mine $48.00
This ultra-sheer, blendable palette was inspired by Laura’s work with celebrity clients, who wanted a universal compact that would “wake-up” their skin and give them an immediate healthy glow. From bronzer, to cheek colour, to glow, it’s easy to customize your look.

Laura loves the finished effect – skin has a natural “no makeup” glow that looks soft and sun-kissed, not to mention the portability and ease of the compact.

Are you a Fifty Shades of Grey fan? How about a Make Up Forever fan? Well it’s you’re LUCKY DAY!!

A new line of makeup inspired by the sexy bokks/film will give fans the chance to channel their ‘Anastasia Steele!’

This limited-edition collection features four different sets, and will debut on December 26th. According to WWD.com, the sets will “start out sweet and get increasingly passionate and sultry.”

While the beauty products are free from handcuffs and whips, the rope-bound ‘Desire Me’ blush trio and brush ($49) is sure to raise a few eyebrows.

Then there is the $79 ‘Give In To Me’ set, which includes a four-shade eyeshadow palette, eyeliner, lipstick, lip gloss and mascara and comes complete with a lockable keepsake box, perfect for hiding any illicit secrets.

The range, which will be sold exclusively at Sephora, also includes two ‘Tease Me Lip Trios’, in ‘Innocent’ and ‘Passionate’. Priced at $32 each, they feature a smudge-proof lip liner, a long-wearing lip gloss, and a more lightweight lip gloss.

And it seems the Make Up Forever collection is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of new Fifty Shades of Grey merchandise.

Earlier this year the book’s author, E.L. James, posted a series of images of new products that are set to be released alongside the movie, including Fifty Shades wine and bondage gear.

Whiter Teeth In One Week With Colgate Optic White

teethWhitening101

If your teeth are like mine they might be a little dingy from coffee and the occasional bottle err glass of red wine. Well never fear we can hide our affinity for dark beverages with the new Colgate Optic White Line. A trio of products that will have your teeth looking whiter and brighter in just one week!

Check out below for my thoughts on each product.

optic white toothpaste

I love this toothpaste, it has a great foaming element that leaves my teeth and mouth looking and feeling fresh and clean. I have been using it for two weeks now and I am definitely seeing an improvement in the discoloration on my teeth.

Colgate Optic White Toothpaste
The must-have toothpaste for your whitening toolkit.

With regular use, this high-impact whitening toothpaste:

  • Removes stains ordinary toothpastes don’t.
  • Whitens more than 3 shades*, results start in just one week!

Plus, it’s got a special formula made with enamel-safe whitening toothpaste ingredients.

The taste of this was a bit weird not bad but a bit different. It didn’t burn like some mouthwashes which was great and it definitely makes my mouth feel super fresh so I can leave with the mildly odd taste. And I have stopped using it as creamer in my morning coffee, that just didn’t work!

Colgate Optic White Mouthwash
Whiten, Freshen, & Protect
Freshens breath
Helps Remove Surface Stains
2% hydrogen peroxide formula whitens as it freshens.
WhiteSeal® technology forms a shield around teeth, to help seal out new stains.

colgate optic white toothbrush and pen

Love, love, love this brush. Ok what weirdo loves a toothbrush? This one! Ask Jocelyn I have a weird thing about epically long brushing sessions. I should probably channel that energy into flossing but hey I still have time to pick that up before my next dentist appointment.

I really like the multiple layers on this brush it gets all the food and ick off my teeth and they feel smooth and clean after. And how great is it to have the whitening pen right in the brush? Genius! The Whitening Pen is easy to apply and didn’t cause any sensitivity and within the first few days I started to see a marked improvement on the stains on my teeth.

Colgate Optic White Toothbrush + Whitening Pen
Brush. Whiten. Go.™
A convenient and affordable way to get whiter teeth in just two days.* The Optic White® Toothbrush + Whitening Pen.

  • Brush as you normally would with your regular toothpaste. The Colgate® Optic White® toothbrush is specially designed with polishing bristles and stain removers to help remove surface stains.
  • Turn the dial at the bottom of the whitening pen and apply gel. It takes only seconds to apply and adhere to your teeth. No waiting, no rinsing.
  • Store pen inside brush.

Overall I think this is a great line for everyday whitening and the best part it didn’t create any sensitivity issues for me.  You can learn more about the Colgate Optic White collection here or purchase any of the items your local drugstore or mass retailer.
