I was exited to get a sample of the Matte Velvet line and check out this beautiful new collection. This 6 color collection of matte polishes are to be worn on their own no base or top coat needed. Once the color dries it finishes with a velvety matte finish. Check out the colors from this collection all the photos are taken with two coats of polish.
Dovima is a smoky charcoal-black with strong silver shimmer and a velvety matte finish. I love the way this looks on, it looks like chalkboard paint. Would be a great base for nail art.
Harlow is a rosy plum shade with a metallic shimmer and a velvety matte finish. I thought this shade would be too pinky but it has the most gorgeous plum base. Definitely a standout color from the collection.
Savita is a bold, vibrant medium with strong red and gold shimmer. I am not usually a fan or purple nail colors but the matte look mixed with the depth of the red and gold shimmer make this a standout purple I would wear anytime.
Veruschka is a deep evergreen shade with a a strong metallic shimmer in a velvety matte finish. Could this be anymore perfect for Christmas? This is such a beautiful color on and I find myself loving it more every time I wear it.
Posh is a cool toned wine red shade with metallic red shimmer and a velvet matte finish. This is a classic shade with a matte twist.
Loredana is a medium gunmetal grey packed with silver shimmer and a shimmery matte finish. This is not a shade I was choose on my own so I am suprised how much I love it. I love the depth of the color and found it very wearable.
Overall I am very impressed with the Zoya Matte Velvet collection. I loved the matte finish and found this still wore for 3-4 days without chipping or fading. Some colors even lasted a bit longer. This is a beautiful collection and would make great stocking stuffers or a secret Santa gift.
