Taylor Swift lands the new cover of British Vogue, and I think she looks great. Different, but great! I don’t even mind the fact that it looks like she’s rockin a mullet! :)

Here’s some interview tidbits from inside, via US Weekly:

Everything has changed for Taylor Swift. Once synonymous with broken hearts, love songs, and high-profile flings, Swift now says that romance is far from her first priority.

“Dating or finding someone is the last thing on my mind,” Swift, 24, said in a new cover story interview for British Vogue. “I can’t picture how it could work with the way my life is. I don’t know how a guy is supposed to walk next to his girlfriend when there are 20 men with cameras, and he can’t protect his girlfriend because that’s the life she chose.”

The stunning singer, who previously dated the likes of Harry Styles, Jake Gyllenhaal, and John Mayer, added that she is actively avoiding a relationship.

“I just don’t see how it could work, so I don’t think about it, and I kind of run from it when it presents itself,” she said. “I don’t think any guy really‚Ķ They think that they would want to get to know me, and maybe date me, but I don’t think they want what comes with it.”

The “You Belong with Me” singer picked up some tricks from her new model BFF Karlie Kloss for her British Vogue spread, posing for the October issue in a gorgeous photo shoot done by acclaimed photographer Mario Testino. She looks chic and sexy on the cover, sitting with her legs folded under her and wearing a light pink Miu Miu jacket over a pale blue cable knit tank.

It’s a particularly exciting time for Swift, as the rising sartorial star is releasing her fifth studio album, 1989, on Oct. 27. Led by the hit single “Shake It Off,” the all-pop album is a complete, deliberate departure from Swift’s country roots.

“This time around I’ve chosen the brave and bold way of going about things,” she told British Vogue. “Because with this album I’ve completely changed the sound of everything I’ve done until now. So it’s interesting to not be afraid of that. You know, I don’t want to hurt people’s feelings, I don’t want to betray Nashville, whatever, but essentially it comes down to challenging yourself as an artist.”
