Fake Bake Beyond Bronze Self-Tan Lotion

fb bb

I might be a little bit of a self tan addict. I have tried so many brands, I just love the look of a healthy golden glow. One of my favorite brands has always been Fake Bake they make great self tanners that don’t cost an arm and a leg. Fake Bake has just released their new Beyond Bronze collection and I had the chance to review the self-tan lotion.

The formula comes out looking a bit like chocolate syrup which makes it easy to get good coverage without leaving bare spots or getting streaks. I found the Beyond Bronze Self Tan Lotion was really easy to blend and I had enough time to work it in before it started to dry. The best part is how easy it is. Just shower to remove all body lotions or oils and it always helps to exfoliate. Then grab your gloves and apply. Once I have applied the self-tan lotion I let it air dry for a bit then hop in bed. While I get my ZZZ’s the self tanner goes to work. Then with my morning shower I can rinse off any extra color guide and when I step out my skin has a beautiful and healthy golden glow. (Check out the swatch below to see the great glow with just one use.)

My skin is very pale and I find I get a great tan every time with this product. Always a true tan color and never orange. I can’t believe this is under $10 at Target, I will be stocking up! A great way to have a beautiful tan without the damage of laying out in the sun or a tanning bed. Remember to always use SPF, seld-tanners make your skin look great but do not include sun protection.

Fake Bake Beyond Bronze Self-Tan Lotion $9.99
Beyond bronze self-tan lotion contains only the finest naturally derived, premium tanning agents dha and erythulose for a longer lasting, natural looking tan. The easy glide formula and ‘show where it goes’ cosmetic guide colour enables you to apply your self-tan with ease and confidence. If you desire a darker tan, beyond bronze self-tan lotion can be reapplied over consecutive days, however one application is usually enough.

Use small amounts and rub in a circular motion. Lightly glaze over the hands and feet, bent elbows and knees. Allow to dry before going to bed. A small amount of the colour guide may rinse off when showering in the morning but the tan will remain. Apply consecutive nights for darker results. Then apply once a week to maintain.

That’s a really nice color. It looks natural.

Great color, this is a lot better than sitting out in the sun and getting a tan.

Thanks so much for writing about this. For some reason fake tans don’t work on me?! I’ll try this one.

I just wondered though, did it end up on your bed sheets or did you put old ones on?

Love the colour, a good natural shade that isn’t orange for once!
