Cameron Diaz landed the February cover of Self Magazine, where she is promoting her new book, ‘The Body Book.’ In Self she opens up about how single women are portrayed in the media. Cameron thinks society has a chauvinistic way of treating single women. Here’s the one quote I’ve gotten from the interview.
“If a relationship fails, it’s because the woman couldn’t hold on to her man, not that the man cheated. It’s terrifying for a woman to get out of a relationship, because it’s always going to be her fault. I get that a lot, being a single woman. The reports are always saying that I’m ‘acting inappropriately’ toward men. I don’t at all harp on that sh-t, but I clock it. I notice it. And then I let it go because there is nothing I can do about it.”
As much as I hate to, I agree with her! People always like to harp on the women when relationships end…like it couldn’t possibly be the mans fault the relationship soured.
