Philip Kingsley Elasticizer

I have been trying to grow my hair out and with the color processing and heat styling my porous, curly hair was starting to look a little sad. I had tried a few deep conditioners and while they made my hair softer they didn’t really change the feel or look of my hair.

When I first opened the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer I was surprised I needed to use this before I shampooed. I followed the directions and parted my damp hair working the Elasticizer through each section. After I had thoroughly coated my strands I put on the enclosed plastic cap and let it work its magic for 20 minutes.

After washing my hair it definitely felt different not just soft but also stronger. Brushing my hair it seemed less prone to breakage. I have been using this for 2 weeks, 2-3 times a week and I love it. My hair is less frizzy, breaks less and looks and feels really healthy. My hair texture has improved so much I am wearing it down and letting it air dry and I actually like how it looks. This is definitely a must have for anyone with dry, damaged or color treated hair. It is on the spendy side but a little goes a long way and the results are worth every penny.

Another cool fact, Philip Kingsley Elasticizer was originally created for Audrey Hepburn, whose hair was wrecked from constant coloring. How cool is that?

The world’s first pre-shampoo conditioning treatment and our hero product. Healthy hair stretches when wet before returning to its original length when dry. However hair in poor condition snaps and breaks when stretched.

Intensely moisturizing Elasticizer delivers a rush of moisture to the hair’s cuticle; suppleness, elasticity and bounce appear instantly without weighing down or coating the hair. Visible results from one application that improve with continued use. Fragrance free. Use once a week as a minimum for best results.

The Philip Kingsley Elasticizer is available for $45 at
