Sandra Bullock lands the cover of Vogue Magazine for the fifth time, in the upcoming October issue. The 49-year-old first made a Vogue cover back in 1998.
On this cover, Sandra is wearing a backless sequin dress by Marc Jacobs. I love the dress (from what I can see), but I’m awfully confused by her hair. It’s really bad, right? According to Vogue, her hair was cut for her movie ‘Gravity,’ so the photo must have been taken a while ago. Miley Cyrus was originally supposed to land the October cover, but those plans were abandoned after Miley’s raunchy VMA’s performance. Looks like Sandra was the backup plan.
Some fans have called the hairstyle ‘confusing.’ One The Fashion Spot commenter compared it to a mullet; while another reader said the style makes the mother-of-one look like a ‘soccer mom’.
However others have simply praised Vogue for featuring an ‘older’ star. One Huffington post commenter said: ‘She is truly a beautiful woman in every sense of the word’. Another agreed, adding: ‘She’s never looked better…beautiful woman.’
I’ll post more pictures once I get them! UPDATE: I HAVE PHOTOS! MORE AFTER THE JUMP!
