On May 8, Grammy-winning superstar Mariah Carey bared a new physique that set jaws dropping as she premiered her new “#Beautiful” music video during American Idol. Now, her personal trainer, Bernardo Coppola, sits down exclusively with Life & Style and dishes on Mimi’s recent slimdown routine.
Bernardo tells Life & Style, out now, “We do a lot of swimming, aquatic exercises, cardio and weights for toning,” adding that he sees her four to six times a week, “even with her busy schedule.”
The key, he says, is switching up workouts so they stay unexpected and fun. That, and following his Body by Bernardo diet plan: Six small meals a day really rev his clients’ metabolisms. “Working out, dedication and specific nutrition,” Bernardo shares, “is what makes Mariah sculpted and lean.”
