The magic of airbrushing, now in a powder!

By far my favorite new product for 2013. I really can’t believe how great the new Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder makes my skin look. I apply it as the last step in my makeup routine and it takes my skin to a level of airbrushed, flawless perfection. The illuminating particles make my skin glow and my whole face is perfected, my skin looks amazing.

You can pick your shade from sheer to my preference Radiant Light the perfect bit of color to wake up pale/fair skin tones.  The powder is micro fine and keep my combo skin shine free. It is now on my must-have list Ambient Lighting Powder takes my skin from so-so to wow in the few strokes of a brush.

My crummy camera does not do this miracle powder justice. But even with this less than stellar photo you can see the effects of Ambient Light Powder. On the left (Before) that is my skin with just BB cream, which covers well enough but you still see spots and my overall color is just a bit underwhelming. Then on the right (after photo) that is 1 minute later after I applied the Hourglass Ambient Light Powder with my Kabuki brush. The flaws in my skin are barely noticeable my skin texture looks smoother and in person poreless! I love how it warms my skin tone and makes my skin look healthy and glowing. I want to bath my whole body in this magic powder Hourglass you have me hooked!

Hourglass Ambient Light Powder $45

What it is:
A universal finishing powder that features state-of-the-art technology to recreate the most exquisitely flattering types of light.

What it does:
Create your perfect light. Ambient Lighting Powder is a groundbreaking collection of finishing powders that capture, diffuse, and soften the way light reflects on your skin. Ambient’s illuminating particles are one of the first ever to exhibit both photoluminescence and color-correcting capabilities. The transparent micron-sized spheres with an entrapped diamond core—called photoluminescent technology—do not simply cloak imperfections like traditional powder, but rather, alter and refine the perceived appearance of the complexion by manipulating and filtering out harsh light. Delivering a multidimensional luminescence to every skintone, skin appears softer, younger, and lit-from-within. With six universal shades available, you can choose to create your desired lighting effect—not unlike having a personal lighting technician. Ambient is free of talc, gluten, fragrance, and nanoparticles.

What it is formulated WITHOUT:
– Parabens

What else you need to know:
“I learned early on how different types of light can truly flatter the complexion. Growing up, my mother had pink light bulbs in all of the lamps throughout the house. She loved pink light because it was the softest and most flattering, and she always wanted to look good. I used this concept of lighting in Ambient Lighting Powder.”—Carisa Janes, Hourglass Founder

Cindy,

$45 is not cheap but it is worth every penny! Every time I put it on it shocks me how dramatic a change it makes. Heard Dim Light is pretty awesome too, I need to hit Sephora and check them out.

I use bb cream as well and it’s a nice blend but it doesn’t cover the dark spots (aging is a b*tch). Your skin looks so beautiful, I think this would help me too.

Lol I hear you. I will be review a new BB cream soon that I am really impressed with the new Clarins BB Cream. I have combo skin so a lot of BB creams run oily on me but the new Clarins one is awesome.
