Review: New LUSH Hair Care Products

It’s all I can do to not use Roots Healthy Scalp Cream every day. I am obsessed with the fresh mint smell and the way it makes my scalp feel tingly fresh. When I first read I was supposed to massage into my hair for 15-20 minutes I thought that sounded crazy. Once I got this magic product on my hair I didn’t want to stop it was the most amazing feeling so fresh and invigorating. And my hair and scalp both feel ridiculously good.

If you are looking for something special to do for the guy/girl in your life for Valentine’s? Give them a scalp massage with Lush’s Roots they will be on cloud 9 and will be sure to repay such kindness.

Roots Healthy Scalp Cream ($19.95): Fine hair can be finicky, so this treatment is packed full of ingredients to revitalize from root to end. There’s honey to soften along with some extra virgin olive oil to strengthen and condition the hair. Menthol stimulates the scalp and encourages hair to grow to its full length, giving the appearance of thicker hair.

I love this shampoo it looks and smells like thick banana pudding. I love the fresh banana scent but if you are not a banana lover no fear the scent washes right out as your rinse. I have color treated coppery red hair with blonde highlights and within a few days use of Blousey my color has become so much brighter and shine for days. It leaves my hair soft and feeling much healthier.

Blousey Shampoo ($25.95): Feeling lousy? Use Blousey! LUSH’s first-ever shampoo specifically for color-treated hair will revitalize, restore, and have hair looking remarkable in no time. Nourishing bananas lock-in moisture and are extremely softening and conditioning. Hair is left feeling incredibly loved and smelling of rose, blackcurrant and juniperberry, with a little thyme and rosemary oils thrown in to repair the scalp. (Vegan)

Happy Happy Joy Joy  makes my hair smell amazing, the rose water scent is so great and I don’t even need perfume when I use it! I love how lightweight the product is, my hair is manageable and so soft and shiny.  I do have a lot of hair so I need a good amount to cover all my hair but it has been working wonders on my dry, color treated hair.

Happy Happy Joy  Joy Conditioner ($12.95 -$39.95):Finally, another vegan conditioner! A rose water, orange blossom water and almond milk base soften, beautify and condition hair. It works wonderfully on bleached and over-processed hair, and on everyone else too as it is rich and moisturizing, but doesn’t weigh hair down.

Shine So Bright helps keep my fine hair looking great even after blow drying and flat ironing. I just run my fingers over the product a few times then apply to the tips of my hair. It works perfect to brighten up and condition the dry parts of my hair without weighing down the rest.

Shine So Bright ($9.95): Hate going to the salon just to get rid of split ends? Well, say no more! This balm will reduce the appearance of split ends while making the hair shine so bright with Extra Virgin olive oil, fresh free-range eggs and fair trade coconut oil.
