Get The Look – Jennifer Lawrence’s sultry, smudged cat eye at the “Silver Linings Playbook” Sreening

I went to a screening of  “Silver Linings Playbook” last night and LOVED it. The movie exceeded my expectations,  Bradley Cooper and Jennifer were perfection together. Jennifer looked so beautiful in the movie and I love her sultry look at the screening it definitely plays up the look of her character in the movie. Don’t miss this when it hits theaters such a great movie!

“Silver Linings Playbook” Screening
Makeup Artist: Jillian Dempsey

Inspired by Lawrence’s sleek dark hair and sophisticated black pantsuit, makeup artist Jillian Dempsey used Laura Mercier products to create a modern, sultry look.

Eyes:
For this look, Jillian concentrated on Jennifer’s eyes, relying on Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Steel ($24) to deliver a sensual feel. To achieve, she first applied the shade to the upper and lower lash lines and then blended it out to create the smoky effect. She used Laura Mercier Sateen Eye Colour in Sable ($22) as a highlighter to make the eyes pop and further framed the eyes with Laura Mercier Kohl Eye Pencil in Black Violet ($20). She completed her eye makeup by saturating Jennifer’s lashes with several coats of Laura Mercier Full Blown Volume Lash Building Mascara in Black ($24).

Face:
Jillian prepped the skin with Laura Mercier Foundation Primer ($32) before applying Laura Mercier Oil Free Suprême Foundation ($43) and Laura Mercier Pressed Setting Powder ($32). She applied Laura Mercier Second Skin Cheek Colour in Tender Mauve ($24) to get a flush of color.

Lips:
To finish the look, Jillian lined Jennifer’s lips with Laura Mercier Lip Pencil in Natural Lips ($20). Then she applied Laura Mercier Crème Smooth Lip Colour in Peche ($26), layering it over a hydrating lip balm to ensure Jennifer would have soft lips for the entire night.
