Jennifer Lawrence has landed her first ever Vogue cover, starring on the November issue – out on sale on Saturday October 6. The 22-year-old is the second youngest Best Actress Oscar nominee of all time (the youngest was then-13-year-old Keisha Castle-Hughes in Whalerider), and found global fame after playing warrior heroine Katniss Everdeen in the film version of Suzanne Collins’ book, The Hunger Games.
A star unequivocally on the rise, Lawrence hits our cinema screens again this month with horror film House At The End Of The Street, then again in December with drama-comedy Silver Lining Playbook – alongside Robert de Niro, Julia Stiles and Bradley Cooper. Although she’s built a name for herself as being one of Hollywood’s more low-key starlets, she’s also known for her impressive red carpet prowess – although what she wears isn’t something that bothers her actor boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult. The pair worked together on X-Men: First Class, which was released last year.
“Oh, he really doesn’t care,” she said. “Like he’ll sometimes wear these white tennis shoes with jeans, then tuck his pants into his socks. He has absolutely no idea how good-looking he is. I think a lot of women and men hate me because of that.”
