24 Hours Left To Make A Pledge for “Bridegroom,” A Film That’s Making History!

This past May, Shane Bitney Crone posted a YouTube video titled, “It Could Happen To You” as a way to honor his partner, Tom Bridegroom, who died in a horrible accident. Shane also wanted to show the world what can happen when you aren’t legally prepared for the unexpected and you don’t have equal rights.

His YouTube video has been viewed almost 3 million times. This led Shane to partner with Linda Bloodworth Thomason, The director/producer of the critically acclaimed Clinton film, “Man From Hope,” and the Emmy winning TV series, “Designing Women,” to turn his story into a feature length documentary.

Shane and Linda have utilized the popular crowd-funding source, KickStarter.com, to raise money for a documentary entitled, “Bridegroom – An American Love Story.” With about 24 hours remaining, you can still make a pledge and be a part of the film project that has now become this most funded film project in the history of Kickstarter.

With over 6,000 people from around the world making pledges, and support from celebrities like Denise Richards, George Takei and Neil Patrick Harris, this film is on a path to becoming a part of the civil rights movement.
