Jessica Simpson to Design a Maternity Line

Jessica Simpson knows a thing or two about fashion, as she proves with her mega-profitable clothing line, The Jessica Simpson Collection. The pop-country sweetheart has taken her fashion knowledge, teaming up with sister, Ashlee, and has designed a new line for young ladies ages 1-7.
“My mother thought it would be great to combine both of our styles, both of our personalities,” Jessica revealed at a launch party their new line at Dylan’s Candy Bar in New York City.
The new range will consist of sportswear separates for tween girls and “combines Jess’s playful + feminine style with my vintage-inspired edge,” Ashlee explained via her Twitter.
Her new fashion endeavors won’t stop there! Jessica reveled in an interview with Fashionista that she will be dipping into another market very close to her heart. “We want to do baby, kids. I’m gonna do maternity.”
The singer will be joining another pregnant music giant — Beyonce — who recently revealed to Harpers Bazaar that she will be creating a line of maternity wear. Moms-to-be are about to get a whole lot more fashionable!
Simpson aims to launch the maternity line in February.
