    My favorite birthday memory was having my 10th birthday at my favorite restauarant and being allowed to invited 10 of my friends. That, and my bday is July 4th so it was extra special, and that and because my bday is a holiday, I always think everyone is celebrating my birthday with me!

    My 10th Birthday my sister gave me a pretty little ring. I felt like a princess. Even though I lost my ring that very same day I still remember how special I felt wearing my first treasure. I still think of my lost ring often.

    My favorite birthday memory happened when I was a young girl. My mother ordered one of those girly birthday cakes (a “doll” cake) from the bakery. Talk about yummy. I received presents from my grandmother & aunt that were wrapped in white tissue paper with red heart lollipops attached to them. Everything was so pretty and festive, I’ve never forgotten it. Oh, good times. Good times. :-)

    I loved my 25th birthday! It was a perfect fall day and my best friend and I went out to a club after my family had a cake for me. It was just a wonderful time in my life. Those were the days :)

    I loved it when I was little and we celebrated my birthday, my cousins birthday and my Aunt’s birthday all together on the same day. My Aunt and I shared the same birthday and now that she has passed away due to cancer, now those memories are even more special.

    I would have to say my favorite birthday was my 24th. I spent it with my family and my boyfriend on a cruise. I spent the whole day in St. Lucia. It was so much fun spending it in the sun and hot sandy beaches. Pure Bliss!

    I’ll never forget my 12th birthday. My parents let me have a slumber party (I think it was my first real party) and they got me a birthday cake shaped like a roller skate! We went roller skating and then spent all night making Friendship Pins with all the beads and safety pins my mom had bought for the occasion. The funny thing is that once in a while I still find one of the distinctive beads rolling around in a drawer or a memory box, and I go right back to that fantastic night! :)

    My favorite birthday memory is 2 years ago when I turned 22. I lived 600 miles away from home when I turned 21, so since my parents missed that bday they wanted to make my 22nd extra special. They took me and my husband to downtown Austin, Tx for a special dinner in a great restaurant that overlooked the river. After the wonderful dinner, (since my birthday was on Fat Tuesday that year) they took me to 6th street (the college party street in Austin) for a couple of hours for drinks. It meant even more to me since they hate that kind of environment (so I didn’t make them stay late). I had such a great night getting to spend time with my family.

    My favorite birthday memory was in college. My friends had planned a surprise birthday party for me, but told me that they had to study all day, so I planned a shopping day out with another friend. She had to stall the entire day and started texting friends madly to find out if they were at the restaurant because she was running out of excuse for us not to go. Finally she was like “there’s this great gallery opening but it doesn’t open until 10, so let’s stop by Buccas to get dessert.” I totally had no idea what was going on, until we rounded the corner and there were 20 of my friends and candles. Best birthday surprise ever!

    Before my fiance and I were dating he came to visit me for a week just before my birthday. Magically on my birthday there were flowers and a balloon waiting for me after work with a card that said “Everyone deserves great birthday surprises” but no signature. I went around asking my students, by roommates, my dad, my best friend. I finally call Benji and asked him if he sent them and he was like “oo you got flowers?” So I asked around more, finally after a week, I gave up and asked him again if he sent them to me, and he was like, It took you long enough to figure it out.
    To this day when he sends flowers he signs his name.
