The natural foods movement, once stigmatized as being a “hippie thing,” has quickly taken center stage in many average American households. Just as Americans are beginning to see the correlation between the food they eat and their health, the products they use on their skin has become increasingly scrutinized and held to higher standards.

Registered Nurses Nan Brown & Lil Bogdan have been ahead of the curve for almost ten years. L’ATHENE, anti-aging and sensitive skin care created by Nan and Lil, is pure nutrient therapy for maximum health and radiant beauty. L’ATHENE products all contain 100% pure pharamaceutical-grade natural ingredients, helping the skin help itself – naturally.

According to Nan, “I struggled with severely sensitive skin for years, even experiencing a second degree burn during a routine facial at a department store. This experience made me realize what the skin really needs: pure nutrients.” Nan and Lil, both former R.N.s at Johns Hopkins Hospital, spent years treating patients with burns and severe dermatological conditions. Through their experience at Johns Hopkins and countless months of research and development, Nan and Lil created the perfect combination of pure nutrient skin care that is also backed by science.

What Makes L’ATHENE Different?
Nan and Lil created L’ATHENE to produce quick, noticeable results with concentrated formulas that last two times longer than other skin care. L’ATHENE products are more than 99% pure, with less than 1% chemicals used only to maintain shelf life. According to Lil, “we created L’ATHENE to be natural and chemical-free because cosmeceutical ingredients in their purest form are the most potent, therefore creating the best results.” Every L’ATHENE product contains a powerful blend of vitamins, minerals, proteins and fatty acids in their purest most bioactive form, essential for skin health.

My most memorable Valentine’s Day would have to be last year’s because it was my first. It clashed on the same day as Chinese New Years so we were able to celebrate both holidays together. He took me to a nice Italian restaurant for dinner and surprised me with a giant heart pillow along with other goodies.

my favorite valentine’s day memories will hopefully include l’athne neroli hand and body cream. as it is now, my favorite memory is of 2009′s valentine’s day–it was the first time my fiance told me he loved me. we were staying at a ski resort and having a deliciously indulgent time. we stayed at that resort last year as well, and i will always remember the wonderful times we had.

Truthfully I don’t have a favorite Valentine’s day memory. They are usually very stressful. My husband does not believe in the Valentine’s day hype and therefore, I must endure the other people’s flowers, cards, I love you’s from their husbands or boyfriends. Sorry to be a downer :(

My favorite valentine’s memory is from 2009… My boyfriend and me went to visit his grandmother on the countryside and to be honest I was a tad dissapointed until later at night he dissapeared and gave me a phone call, he told me we had to leave and that he was waiting for me where we had left the car (by a river because the car couldnt go further) I walked over there thinking it had been the worst valentine and i found that he had put christmas lights on all the trees, had set up a picnic with whine and holding a guitar, it was beautiful, he sang for me and then under the moon light asked me to marry him… it still gives me shivers

I like surprises. Back in college, one Valentine’s Day my boyfriend said “let’s just get in the car and drive somewhere this weekend”. We drove for a couple of hours to a nearby city and got a hotel. That night he surprised me with tickets to see The Lemonheads – an indie band that I really liked at the time. They were playing in an intimate little club and we were practically 5 feet away the entire night. It was cozy and perfect.
