I was at Macy’s the other day – and I stopped by the fragrance counter, and wanted to try Womanity by Thierry Mugler. I really love this new fragrance!
Five years ago, Thierry released his beloved fragrance Alien. Womanity, the highly anticipated new fragrance, was released in June!
WWD reports that Womanity is “a made-up word meant to associate with femininity, humanity and city.”
“Mugler, buttressed by focus groups, sees the evolving quest of women as a drive to express themselves and their ideas. He created a Web site, Womanity.com, as a platform for dialogue. The more women connected with each other, according to Mugler’s perception, the more creativity is released.”
“In order to create content for the site, one idea is to provide the beginning of a story that will be finished by different women, each writing their own page. A contest will solicit ideas from women for a particular project or cause. The winner will work with Mugler in completing it.”
The pink bottle has an Art Deco-inspired top and is meant to appeal to women of all ages. The juice itself was developed by Mane and combines both sweet and savory notes of fig and caviar. In a nod to the environment, the bottle is refillable and the packaging uses minimal cardboard.
